Taranis and Claw are generally considered the best. Good slot setup, good firepower.

I prefer the crusader personally, but it all depends on what you want to do pvpwise. Do you want to kill at range, get up close and personal etc etc?

Is it really effective to fight alone with crusader?
can you stay alive in short range againsta bigger ship? can you keep the short range enought?

Pick and choose your battles........I've had both great success and great failure with the crusader, luckily the success side outweighs the failure side. only 2 medslots means u have to choose between web and scramble, so if you dont have motion prediction 5 and high ceptor skills you may want to go with a 3 med slot ceptor instead. Like I said though, all depends on what you want to do and your fighting style.

How do the Amarr interceptors and Malediction in particular compare against those of other races? I don't think I've seen as much as a mention of the ships on these boards lately, are they that bad?

Clawarasader.... From the Mingallamarr race.
There is no such thing as a best ship. This isn't WoW.

While not considered as versitile as the others, the crusader does great damage, and the malediction is one of the best pure scramming/tackling ships in the game (but its damage sucks).

Crows are very versatile, and survivable, if you fit them correctly (and yes, there's more than just rocketcrow with plate or rangecrow with light missiles). ------------------------------------------- Sometimes, I wake up but keep on dreaming. |

I prefer the Crow. Reason being because, often with most of the interceptors out there when you try to be in your optimal range, you also end up in your oponents optimal or good enough range.
The crow can adjust this distance (with right setup of course) and still hit for full damage, discounting resistances.
