More details would be nice. OEM computer or something you built yourself and how many harddrives?
I would start thinking about upgrading that power supply unit fast though. Allow me to be frank. You will not like me. You will not like me now, and you will not like men++ a good deal less as we go on. |

I would look into getting a new PSU first, Corsair CX 600M is a good one for a decent point. As for a graphics card, it is trickier because of you being limited to $300.
But if you tell me where you live, it is easier for me to find a good deal for you. Allow me to be frank. You will not like me. You will not like me now, and you will not like men++ a good deal less as we go on. |

GTX650 gives too small of improvement.
Maybe AMD HD7770 or GTX660. But then your power supply becomes the main deciding factor and I do not know off hand if it will work. Life is short and dinner time is chancy Eat dessert first! |

Personally I've been using a HD6790 for some time now with no issues on any current game, much less EVE. That said, I'd probably look at upgrading that power supply pretty soon. As others have said, I think it will become a point of concern before too long. |

Just keep in mind that the performance difference between a 7770 and 560ti is really negligible, compared to a 660ti.
