Well... I just got EVE today. I am addicted. I have played maybe 4 hours... and I have one question. How long does the Down-Time last? It's 4:13am... and I need more EVE....

It's scheduled to last an hour but some days it can be as short as 15 minutes.

It's scheduled for 1 hour. Sometimes it comes up sooner, other times later. If you really want to get back on ASAP then try relogging after half past. It's usualyl back up somewhere between quarter to the hour and on the hour.

It normally takes about 1 hour, but most of the time you can try logging on again after twenty minutes or more.

I am clicking the Connect button like.. well. one every 30 seconds... I was in the middle of a very cool project... and im...  wanting to get back to it! hehehe

You can see if the server is up, or coming back up, on the login screen. Select tranquility and you get the server status, now, for example it is "PROXY NOT CONNECTED", and just turned to "Starting Up (568sec)"...
No need to sit there spamming connect, it won't do anything until that 568 sec counts down and the server is actually up.

Clearly the lack of EVE is affecting your judgement.
I'm also at work, but the concept of actually doing anything is a myth. It's an open office, but i'm at the very back of the room. And as long as they can hear me rattling away on my keyboard they don't seem to care. I sat and played Quake 2 for an afternoon once, and my manager congratulated me for hard work at the end of the day...

I have to update everyone lol...
The servers came back up.. obviously... and I ended up playing till damn near 6am lol...
Wow im tired... but EVE is so awesome...
