In light of certain developments, something has been made very clear...it is very easy to falsely represent any entity in EVE.
Could not a corp or alliance assign representation to a member though. Give them an ID, a badge..something that proves they have authority to speak on behalf of the group they are with?
Could not agreements be made in writing so the party in question has some proof and even a temporary standing icon to show they are renting space, or mining with a license to do so?
Possibilites here folks. |

I think this could be a fun idea. Imagine the jokes
I approve of implementing something like this |

Well, it would eliminate some of the hand holding that is being done now. If you enter a "deal" with someone without confirming their authority, then you just brought it on yourself. |

This already exists: any big corporation or alliance will have the people who can speak on their behalf listed in their corp or alliance description, usually as diplomats. |

Yes, but it needs more meat. Something in-game that gives them the title. Something players can click on and check out for themselves. |

If a corp wants, they can use the title feature to give someone an official title. This is less reliable because usually it's just used for jokes though. It is generally understood though that a corporation or alliance has to have accessible, non-scamming diplos in order to do anything so virtually all of them follow that pattern. |
