So, just wondering, for a bulletin for the new Eve-Cast, how is the war over the wildlands going? I believe it's the Veritas Immortalis vs. Red Alliance, as well as Foundation Alliance... what's the latest? Thanks! -Ishkil Thor- CEO, Foundation Corp Foundation Corp

i heard that -V- and RA had a powwow in B-VIP around a bonfire drinking lots of vodka and throwing random assorted forum alts and nub scouts that passed by on the huge bonfire while laughing their butts off.

tbh there isnt a fight for the Wildlands V have taken full controll of the heart of the Wildland, ie E02 M-M and U3K, and have done for a fair few months now.
Recently fights have started in the N-RAEL corridor all the way up into Red ALlliance space. Also ALTZ and a few other Red corps run gank squads in GW but nothing serious like trying to claim GW.
Props to V for there organization and team work and generally been cool guys to fight.
Personally i think V made a good move when they moved out of player owned stations and into Npc stations (and an awesome region) and V have grown alot stronger since.
This post is my own views and nothing to do with my allaince so flame me if u want but not my allaince
Hope this is a good summary and V guys please say otherwise if im talking bull****

Only a short information:
V is atm operating in RA Space, with a good success for now. We lost a Dread, RA lost 2 so far. As we said before, we have no intentions to claim anything of RA space soon, but we captured one of their systems with a station in and killed some POS so far. RA lost ships, V lost ships as its normal in a war. But according to the killboards atm we lead in kills since we started that campaign 1 1/2 weaks ago. But the different timezones V and RA are playing in doesnt help both parties.
V just began with the campaign, we are doing good, we will go on. Thats it for now :)

If the above is true that would mean foundation which as you say is involved in this war would be able to answer you question. Yyou are in Foundation and dont have a clue whats going on, then its logical to assume Foundation isnt involved at all, or you would simply be able to ask in alliance chat. V vs RA but definetly not Foundation.

Wow, kinda sums up foundati0n's involvement if you gotta ask on forums about what's going on.. Did you mean to post with an alt?
RA and V are fighting in RA space, aswell as in the pipe to N-RAEL to RA space. Imperium and French Force Alliance are also present in RA space.
BTW, thx for the kind words and incredibly impartial summing up, pudder, ALTZ are a pretty cool bunch, they seem to want to fight whatever the odds and just for fun, you showed us that in G-W ___________________________

Edited by: DeadDuck on 10/01/2006 14:47:00 Today the war will trully began between -V- and RA. I must say that -V- has shown untill now a quite impressive team work and focus on a few objectives ... has a result -V- manages in most cases be in superiority facing RA fleets, even if you think that RA is a bigger alliance then -V-.
They managed to inflict heavy losses several times to RA forces (the 2 N-Rael Battles, and the dreads losses near JLO are a example), and I will say that most probably they inflicted more damage that we managed to inflict on -V- forces.
Allied to the -V- vigour we have seen increasing activity of -LV- in the GW areas alsow, acting with or without combined -V- forces.
Conclusion: -V- caught RA by surprise using awesome forces and with a very good strategie, attacking where they could hurt more and causing heavy losses ... RA started to respond slowly and in the midle of some internal confusion.
Inthe last days RA fleets have started to counterstrike in a more coordinated and focused way...
Today the total war (0 space + empire ) is starting and we will see how things are in a couple of weeks.

Props for the unbiased view of things.
Though I'm puzzled as to what you hope to archieve with an empire war with a 0.0 based alliance. Any vital logistics (think in terms of freighters) will and always have been properly escorted, the empire war will at most make us keep an eye on local even more closely. On top of that both RA and -V- are offset in timezones. We've had an empire war before and most of the kills made then were done so by ganking single pilots, sometimes foolishly afk ones.
Compared to the big, war-deciding and big-isk involving 0.0 campaigns the empire guerilla warfare will be an itching toe at most to both sides on the grand scale of things.

And V has corps like Fury, who won't fight without at least 2-1 odds in their favor.
And its amusing to see all these posts about RA "blobs" when I have yet to see a V fleet of less than ~30 ships at a time.
