Hello, something I always hate while doing missions in my Battleship is how long it takes to gather all the loot thats several KM's from each other, my already tightly packed ship can't fit an AB or MWD and still handle the rats so I have to sit there moving at 120 m/s to each can..
Quite boring.
I came to wonder if there could be some way that you could unduck from your bigger ship in a small cargo-collecting ship that would move faster and could carry a fair amount of loot, then bring it back to your main ship. Of course this would leave ur ship unguarded while you are out collecting the loot in this "shuttle alike ship" but that should not be much of a problem when you cleared the rats.
Anyways.. just an Idea.. Too boring to collect loot as it is (tractor beams got too short a range), but you could miss some loot worth a whole lot if you don't.
Maybe drones that would fly out and bring back cargo containers too, but might be hard to make.

i like the drones picking up loot for you. but they would only have cargo bays of say 20 and would only be able to loot containers that you or your gang legally own, and if there was something that was too big for them to carry, they would send an automated EVE-mail to you telling you whats in the can and how much cargo you need to carry it yourself.

Or come back with a fast hauler. Bookmark the cans etc. You'd have more cargo space as well. Or use teamwork. GASP!

1) Finish your mission targets
2) Bookmark one lootcan (from every mission bm or ds pocket)
3) Head back to your agent and talk to him
4) Switch to nanofiber (and tractor beam) fitted hauler
5) Pick up your loot from bookmark(s)

Yup,when i¦m npcin I use 2 tractor beams on my bs it¦s great =)
you only need to be at 20km range from the can and it is really faster way to get the loot, it has saved me alot of time and there for money.
