By chance, i came across Charcter Manager last night. My first impression are that this could be very useful, with skill queuing abilities. Does anyone use this and is it worthwhile?

It's usefull sure, I've used it a lot in the past but not lately.
Note that you can't actually change your skills in training in-game with it. It is only an out-of-game skill training planner.

Well I for one use it ;) (see sig)
It is one of the more popular 3rd party EVE tools around, with over 5000 downloads of our latest update (the RMR skills patch) within 3 weeks :)
My thanks to Sable for mentioning that this tool will not change your skills for you.
If you have any questions/problems etc. feel free to check out our site (again, see sig).
Hope this helps :) ___

The latest skill pak update is great .. but unfortunately with the RMR bug fix patch we are now missing Mining Foreman and Mining Director skills and it's throwing errors all the time.

Please note, we only support applications downloaded from http://www.eve-ffet.com/ and it's official mirrors. We are in the habit of updating stuff (only occasionally ) and this is reported on our home page.

I haven't used it because it asks for my login and password. Wouldn't this allow my account to be hacked? or Am I missing something?

Yeah you're missing the fact that they say this is necessary to log on to the "My character" page on eve - and thats ALL they use it for. You don't even have to do that - it has a "safe" mode where it pops up a browser window for you to log on yourself and go to the character page.
thousands use it - it's safe.
