Edited by: steelmattthias on 10/01/2006 13:24:42 As has been stated before, the EULA states that CCP owe you nothing if the servers are down or any technical problems occur.
Now, think about how many people were affected and the fact that they were all affected for varying lengths of time etc. I think it's safe to assume that CCP aren't going to contact each individual or ask them to submit a petition to reclaim a few minutes, hours or days of lost training time.

I dont think reseting passwords en-masse can be considered a technical problem. -Free Mr.Fu,freeedom!11 |

Could you ask them to give me some skillpoints too? As a compensation for all the pointless whining on community forums instead connecting the place you should, the CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

So you like flooding the community forums with useless stuff? Especially as the ones with the authority and possibilities to help you in any way are simply mostly not here. Thanks. I really have to petition this soon to get me at least couple million extra skill points

Apologies, but I haven't had any problems getting on to eve or training skillpoints. The problems is exactly the reverse, as I should be revising for an exam, but keep getting distracted!
So...In a strange way, EVE is causing me to not train skill points in rl
Ho hum....the irony....

No, I'm making a point. Better to make it once in a thread to get rid of one *cough* for good. And I didn't start it either so the thread is on the list of all the threads clogging the view in any case already. The worst happened already when the thread was created.
Now let's let it die and I hope I never see any thread by you again. Bye.

What was that supposed to mean? The fact that I'm an alt makes you somehow less *cough* when you create pointless whine threads and replies all around? Nice logic.

Quote: updated : announcement from customer support reported by GM Grimmi | 2006.01.08 16:48:58 Dear players,
Update:Since a number of the customers that got their passwords reset have been unable to log in due to the delays with our email arriving to them, they have been credited with extra days on their accounts to compensate for these problems.
Many of you have sent us multiple mails regarding missing passwords and issues relating to the hacking attempt the other day. We ask that anyone with multiple mails on this please close all but one in order to lessen the load at Customer Support.
Also, some of you have already been able to retrieve your password and are playing and we ask that you close mails that you may have open regarding an issue that has been resolved. We are working hard on sorting out this whole mess and with your help we will have this all back to normal as soon as possible. Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.
Thank you, EVE Online GMs
Sardau Kar, mayby this makes you a happy man
