The NPC price for the Tractor Beam BPO went up from 81k to 99k.
I don't think that the peeps that were talking about petitioning are going to get good news on this.
Reduced profits for the tie.

NPC prices react to demand, and since the patchnotes *used to state* that there was 17500% profit to be made, demand has been high :)

In lonetrek about a dozen stations are still selling 416 units for 81'000.01 isk each which is unlimited supply.

Basically yeah, it went up because massive numbers of them have been sold. When a particular npc sell order gets filled, it regenerates but the price starts going up...this is why a lot of high-end bpos are now sold individually.

Roughly a hundredthousand Tractor Beam BPO's were bought in the last several days. In my region (Verge Vendor) the daily sales of this module is about 10 to 15. The build time of said module is only 10 minutes or so. In other words, most of these BPO's are never going to get re-sold.

it doesn't concern school items (like skills), including BPOs that are sold by npcs in bulks. Otherwise a noob player this year would pay 4.5 bil per cruiser skillbook :P

Actually it does, just that the price slowly drops back down as demand decreases. There have been several major fluctuations in cruiser and battleship prices over the last 2 years, generally coinciding with content patches that made a ship or race particularly uber (torp ravens, anyone?).
