The biggest connection that Sony has with CCP is that probably one of the them has a Sony Walkman. Thats it.

A) As mentioned before, EVE doesn't disable the functionality of your PC and hide itsself on your computer.
B) You don't have to buy special proprietary memory to run EVE - the stuff other games need is fine.
C) Buying EVE doesn't make you feel like you've sold out somehow.

Just because every other MMO's customers are now playing Eve, doesn't mean CCP is like SOE. It means SOE needs to be like CCP. Maybe EverQuest wouldn't suck a crazy monkey covered in elephant sh*t's balls! WHOOPS.. sorry crazy monkey covered in elephant sh*t... no offense to you!

lol crazy people alert,
yeah i played uo for a looooong time, then swg for a cple of years, but its with these crazy patches there doing lately just gives me flashbacks.....

i been here one month in eve coming from swg i assure you good sir if this was an soe product the next patch would eliminate spaceships completely due to an inequality of the starter ship and battleship so henceforth you would play from the station your in and if you say this is a problem for your mining trading whatever please await next patch where theyll reissue shutlles so ya might beable to visit a friend in another station,
this is not an soe product i can assure you
