i get a blacking blinking screen now when i open up a show info window on a blank character . fun new eve feature in patch ? . games unplayable now really pc starts blinking and freezes . was perfectly fine before patch

Re install eve completly, see if you have up to date drivers, clear cache. If you have tried all those then file a bug report or Ask A Question through support for further assistence.

If you have reinstall eve, please keep a copy of \Program Files\ccp\EVE\cache\Pictures\Portraits of this. With out the files in this dir you screen will start to blink as soon as you get to the pick your char. It will let you still play the game just as long and you don't try and get the data on a ppl you don't have a portrait of. It you don't have copy of it ask the DEV at less make a copy of your char pitures and and the char?.dll file for that dir. You should beable to get back into the game with out blinking screen then.

Reinstall Winodws, reinstall Eve, refresh drivers, kill ****** doesnt help. No.
Solution is described in the section Known isuues and workarounds. You have to replace one new file with old one. CCP had been reported, btw

Got an integrated grafic solution? Maybe one with shared memory?
Yeah, the recent changes to the client made those none-DX9 compatible solutions a big nono. And somehow the QA department must have been on holiday.

Running the same thing i have for ages (FX 5200 AGp with 256mb) and still working fine for me.
