Hi.
Im having an issue where the launcher just wont open, or if it does, it takes between 2 and 20 minutes to do so. This started after Odyssey 1.1.
As soon as i open the file in the eve folder, it shows up as "launcher.exe" under the Processes tab in Windows Task manager, and the memory loaded keeps fluctuating between 100k-350k until it finally loads.
I have tried several fresh installs, purging every single eve related file including my Singularity client, but nothing has helped. The repair tool is also ineffective.
Running it in administrative mode or any other compatibility mode does not fix it.

Only CCP can help you here. File a Petition... oh no... a support ticket.

Edit: I can feel your pain. Lots of issues here too atm. Remove insurance. |

Im glad someone is getting help GM Arcade was supposed to be helping me but he hasn't really helped AT ALL. He keeps blowing me off by telling me to do really stuppid things like send him files from the launcher when I had already stated in the ticket that I had tried repair tool, tried restarting, tried downloading from different browsers, and EVEN THAT I HAD ALREADY DELETED ALL FILES in the attempt to reinstall completely. I first did a reinstall, when that didn't work I deleted everything.
After already stating that, he still replies with crap that tells me he didn't read what I wrote. So the response was horse crap and so is thw customer service for this game. I quit playing EA games because of crap customer service. Guess I am quitting this one for the same reason. I have cancelled one account, two more to go and then I no longer need to worry about what CCP does about customer service.
Oh look....even my toilet paper company has a customer service line. And Eve Online doesn't.... Imagine that. Scott Toilet Paper: Call us: 1-877-856-7268
Even a crap company has more respect for its customers than CCP. |
