I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I can only play Eve when i'm drinking. Not really sure why but I can never play sober. I mean, I just can't. So I'm just wondering if anybody else out there is like me. Gotta play with beer in hand...seems much more exciting that way.
Btw, I listen to Britney Spears while I'm playing as well.

I like to kick back and have a beer or two when i play eve, not too many though....otherwise it never ends well.

Oh, and I hear that alcohol + EVE is responsible for more ship losses than lag...

Reminds me of a girl I knew who learned to drive heavily intoxicated, and so eventually she couldn't even drive sober...
Kinda miss her, she had an incredible sex drive...and DAMN was she into some fun stuff...

PvP is much better when your drunk. You never get over excited, you do things calm and slow. You just dont care if u live or die :)
Had my best pvp experiences toxicated... lol.
Problem comes when ur too drunk and pass out in mid warp, only to wake up in a cloning station and with beer all over your dining table.

We were in HED-GP-Curse area in ravens,me and a friend.A warpcored CA raven came thru so we engaged,he wasnt on instas but had a MWD on so we couldnt kill him before he reached gate(no webbers,its not like we needed them before :P).Well we chased him like 2 jumps while he was screaming back and forth ¦¦Do you really think you will get me?``.Well,he jumped into HED and I told him friend it was clearly a trap.All I remember hearing on TS was a homer ¦¦arghghashs`` ,he just ignored me and jumped on hed.Gate was clear but there was clearly a CA blockade there,so he jumped back to the previous system.A ca lone frig came out of the gate and told him not to engage,again the blabble blabble,I dont think he was even listening.He engaged,got warscrabled,got agression and then like a gazillion nasties poped out from the gate.I went there on his aid knowing I would die anyway.We both got ganked miserably.

See, that's just what I'm saying....you just never know what you're going to do when you're drunk. I like that aspect of it whilst tying one on. The 'X' factor. You never know if you're going to lose a ship, say something stupid or buy some **** you just don't need.
And Britney is my girl....can't play Eve without her.

I lost my Jag to a Claw this weekend, thanks in part to the four Stellas I'd consumed prior to negotiating entry to Curse.
The only bonus was a good chat with the guy who killed me, learnt a few things I didn't know and came away a bit wiser about PvP. |

It'd be really funny if you're flying without shields (basically, any armor-tanking during combat), and you actually could damage your ship by hitting objects at high enough speed (mostly ABs & MWDs, I imagine)

I played on christmas eve, when I was very drunk, I could hardly see the keys, I was in a 0.3 system and decided to slag off all the pirates in local whilst flying about roid belts lookin for them...
I'm not sure how I still had a ship the next morning...
