I am preparing to train for freighter, I have access to a Minnie freighter in empire space and I am trying to determine the ISK/HR ration I could expect from moving items/minerals/tradegoods in empire. As well an idea of how much working capital needed to efficiently make the most per hour would be appreciated.
Understand that I do not want specifics (trade routes etc.), however accurate numbers would be appreciated for planning what to go into.

spoon feeding for the win ... are you paying a fee for us to share such info ?
how hard can it be to answer your own questions...
BULK m3 of a freighter / volume of what you plan to sell = number of units you need to buy to maximise the trade run.
nb of units * average buy price = your isk commitment to run the trade...
There I answered one of your questions... The best Laught ever ... |

I understand that FLAME tends to get rid of TROLLS. I am begining to start training for something and want to determine the viability, and get trolled for it. All I was really asking was for someone to post the approximate profit they get from an average run (not define the run) and time to complete, and collateral necessary to do it. Thats not going to compromise what runs you are doing since i have no hard data to track down what u are running, but gives me an idea if training and spending close to 1.7 billion is worth it?
So please anyone serious please reply and inform me of what kind of performance could be expected?

I actually think I answered your question ... as far as how long before you make a profit on the venture... depends on the trades you do... as with everything the less risk the less rewards... moving trit doesn't quite pay as much now...
agaain since you need to be spoon fed... lets go with TRIT...
lets assume 1,5isk p.u. buying price... you can fit 80M units in a freighter (i'm giving you the general idea - fit in your exact stats) so the commitment is 120M isk per run
assuming you can resell it at say 1,75isk p.u. you make a profit of 20M isk per run ... see how its calculated ? trit is the worst no brainer to trade... only the first few freighter pilots actually made a killing trading it... now its one of the lowest returns... but again I have helped you get your grey matter started about answering the questions for yourself... fill in your details...the goods you have access to at a good price and you should be able to calculate your own ROI per run and your break even time frame...
The best Laught ever ... Credit goes to TheKiller8 for this :) |
