im am loggin on to the server every 2 seconds and getting disconnected every few seconds after, on both of my accounts, im not only 1 having this problem, wats up?

I havnt got a clue but i seem to be getting random disconnects a lot

Same thing, got on before for all of 1 minute until I was dropped. Before that I just barely made it to the station screen, then kerplunk. Several other attempts yielded the server error message at loggin screen.

managing to have one sentence convo's with corpmates currently, along the lines of:
me: grr..dicsconnected..anyone else having problems?

them: (random abuse and mick taking about my connection quality)

repeat ad finitum

Ok...might aswell take the servers down and fix it properly then keep it up and let us play in lag, lag and lag...oh and have us ctd every 2 seconds.
Lets go play WoW and sniff some flowers

I constantly CTD'd every 3 mins or so ever since the password reset thing.
Deleted cache, didnt help. Reinstalling eve fixed it for me though.
(if you decide to do this, make sure to copy the "settings" folder in your cache directory and copy that to your new install, so you dont lose your bookmark folders etc + overview settings and so on, also copy the prefs.ini file).

Running 2 PCs, one keeps dropping, had problems logging both in tho, took 3-4 tries on each to get in.

Same here.
I run two accounts on this machine from separate installs. Normally without any problems.
This evening, by the time I'd logged into the second account the first one had already disconnected. This went on for about 5 or 10 minutes. Everything's stable now.
Weird network stuff? No idea, really.

Check for virus's it could be dropping you because the other end detects a bruteforce attack on the server via your account. Has your options reset recently? like your no longer subscribed to channels? if so do a sweep of ur comp with AV.

I'm suffering from constant drop outs too, with the system error message window appearing with this message :
Message: 'ContextMenuEnter'
Args: None
I'm a dumbass, so I have no clue what it means.
Then i get the good old "Connection to server lost..."

before all that have issues staying connected to Eve, point the finger at CCP, try to check the path to the servers (tracert) and verify where the issue starts.
Chances are there is a node common to all the users having a problem, and it is not CCP's fault.
(common mistake of the network-challenged, blame the server, never check the path)

I think it uses a "on demand" node connection, not sure but Im sure I read an article somewhere about it. So it should connect to a different one at least .. if you log in more than 3 times.

I'm having great fun fitting modules at my pos, reloggin just got me a not connected to internet and a few disconnects for good measure.

i keep disconnecting after 1-2 mins.. and it says server is offline...
the guys that run this stuff need to do a post saying "look folks, we know their is a big problem, we are rite on it, u will be kept u to date"
customer support and all that, anyone for BF2?.

if all these folks playing EVE are having problems its CCPs fault.. im not losing connection to the internet, im losing connection to their servers.. whatever it is its their issue and they need to sort it or at least speak to us.

As pointed out in another thread this could be the same issue that happend just after RMR was released.
I am not a comm's expert but some ISP's and those connected via router could be the ones affected. Something to do with IP adressing issues.
I use Blueyonder and connect via router.
Maybe someone technical could explain.
If you stay logged for 10 mins then your fine, or at least I am.
Corp mate suggests clearing cache and rebooting should help, but I have not needed to try this.

I kept getting it too. And some of my corpmates. It's not an isolated incident and the rest of our net connections have been fine.
