Due to harasments against our corporation, I have to say something here.
-------------------- As the founder of the first Chinese player corporation, CHANG CHENG CORPORATION, I would like to declare the following:
CHANG CHENG CORPORATION is a corp formed by the Chinese players who play and enjoy the game legally, just like any other legitimate players. we have nothing to do with the macrominers (or real money traders/ RMT).
In fact, we are against the macrominers, too. we dislike them for lowering the mineral price, sweeping the belts. And we hate them for bring us troubles because there are people who think all Chinese players are RMT.
Since the official Chinese channel is occupied by the farmers(RMTs). Chang Cheng's public channel is a place for legimate players to help each other and socialize, but not a place for people to spam. WE DO NOT SELL ISKs or do anything that is against the rule, which is written in the public channel motto
please dont go into rasism just because some of the macros are chinese. I am sure CCP does not allow any racist action in this game, anyway.
SO I HOPE U ALL WOULD LEAVE OUR CORP ALONE. I also hope CCP can really do something about this situation.
P.S: some links coming up

I cannot take this seriously when your public channel contains several known macro miners and a member of your corp was seen defending a macro miner op.

Names plz? I'm always up for filing another MM petition, since the Devs seem to have a hard time getting them.
Also, IBTL, this is a rant/flamebait imo.

Please report to us, so that we can kick them out of the public channel. Since we DO NOT have connection with them, we do not know who is or isnt a macro just like you.

tell u what...
I petitioned 67 macros and killed 5 myself. And I contacted a GM for this whole macrominer thing.
If you were in our position, being bothered, would u be able to enjoy EVE? Whoever is spreading the racist idea, should stop.

I personally have much respect for the Chinese gaming community, you guys are seriously hardcore gamers who can/will succeed where others will dismally fail.
As a member of Buyla i wish you all the best from all our members and hope to see you ingame somepoint
@all those who hate macro-miners/ isk farmers (me included)... dont let the good players 'corp ops' get mistaken for farming, i'm sure at somepoint your own corps have had 10+ apoc's mining a system bare so you can build new kit etc etc... I for one will be slighty more careful when 'asking' for replies in local when trying to figure who is a macro and who isnt.
............................................... I am not asking for blood, i can take your blood. I am asking for souls, which i can make as painful as you wish. |

Thanks.
We are in the "CHANG" corp so people should be able to tell, and we rarely do mining ops in empire space so that should distinguish us from the macros.

all the newb corp people with no standing to anything except tutorial agent or concord should be investigated, especially extraet, bloodwarq, spidermanx, deepdark, redwarning because they all have the same creation date.
the player I saw defending huweijian's macro miners was sealokasee, and he's still in the channel even though he's not in corp.

Sealokasee is a PvPer...
BTW, not sure but I do know that some Chinese gamers are pretty passive when it comes to harassment. Maybe because they dont understand or do not know what is going on to give a reply. Some just wants to play the game, mine, make ISKs, get better ships, etc. Just because somebody who doesnt reply doesnt mean the person is a macro. ----------------

Thanks for reporting.
And yes "sealokasee" is the player we dealt about, and you see we expeled him.
About other macros... honestly the public channel is packed by over 70 ppl, at max. I cannot keep checking on each of their standings all the time, but I have been kicking out chars that turns out to be RMTs.
Again, I hope you would think in our positions, too. I believe we are in a harder position than you are cuz we are blamed for no reason.

besides, if you have dealt with those macros, you should know that even if I kick one or two out of the channel they will make other chars to come in. They are keep training new miners.
If you want to blame, please find out WHO IS BUYING ALL THE ISKs or WHICH ALLIANCE IS HIRING THE MACROS!!!

Well, we do kill macros. Just because Sealokasee is a friend of a corp mate and he PvP with us a lot, doesnt mean he is a macro who will join our corp to macro-mine. If he does, we will kick him from the corp too. So far, he does make an effort to come play with us... I could have been social engineered but I still prefer to keep an open mind. ----------------

I think it's very commendable that you are publicizing this issue and, hopefully, educating those who perceive all chinese players as targets.

The last time I actually looked at my local, was about 2 months ago. I am a miner, but local seems to whine waaaaayy to much ( in empire space). I talk in corp/eve u chat, and occasionally the mineral channel, and that's with english as my native language. I wouldn't use the whole local thing in any way, shape, or form. --------- "English doesn't borrow from other languages. English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through thier pockets for loose grammar. " |

Well, thanks for telling me. Will keep an eye. If it does happen, feel free to mail me. Our corp stance has always been playing EvE by playing EvE, not cheating, etc. So, he is with us now, and will be given a new life until proven guilty again. Does that sound OK with you? ----------------

if he's joined a 0.0 corp he probably won't have any opportunity to associate with macro miners, and he might have learned his lesson by being kicked from CHANG.

Hello all,
I am Qing Tian, the current CEO of Cheng Chang Corporation. Firstable, we are not macro miner at all. If you would like prove, come to where our POS located. I don't believe that we have touched the surrounding belts. They are almost completely intact
As macro-miner goes, we have been approached by numerous macro miner who would like to join us to mine at 0.0. We have steadly refuse them. We really believe in playing the game as the way this game is supposely played, and not to cheat/break the rule.
But at the same time, I have heard rumor from Chinese channel that some alliances actually recruit macro-miners to mine for them in Chinese channel. I wouldn't name names, because I wasn't present when the supposed event happened, and I don't have a log to prove it. It's something that disturb me more than macro-miner...

Uh, kerun is one of the regulars over at EVE Japan. If anyone calls him a macrominer I will *****their face. Thank you.
As an aside, are you Nihon/PRC folks planning on switching to Serenity (China server) when it goes live or will you stay on Tranquility? -------------- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?
