What's that, you say? A NAMED tech II device? Surely not? However, friends, I kid you not. The BEST cloaking device avaliable to man is avaliable right here!

Yes, the 'Guise' Cloaking device, avaliable only to a select few, could be headed your way. I've only ever seen one on Escrow before, and I dont fly a cloaked ship, and have never done, so I'm a little unsure about the price. The one on Escrow was going for 500mil, so I figure if I start at half of that, 250mil, please feedback on price. I've never seen one of these before, and never knew named T2 existed.
As you can see from the link above, the Guise Cloaking Device completely owns both the Improved, and the Dread ones. Please note the Guise has only 85% of the CPU requried to fit, which, I know as a frig pilot myself, is all the difference between being able to fit an extra gun, or not.
Start: 250mil
Reserve: None
Increment: 5mil
Buyout: Make me an offer.
Sniper Rule: None
Item Location: I will escrow it anywhere reasonably near Jita, in high-sec.
As I said, if i've got the price hopelessly wrong, please tell me, and I'll adjust it. For this reason, I will not put an end time on this escrow until 18:00 EVE time today (12/1/06). The end time, though, will be in about 3 days time, as a general guide.

Normally i wouldn't comment on price, but since you're asking. I'd think it's a bit steep because it really isn't that much better than the improved cloak, it's "only" better when it comes to cpu, which matters as you say, but i'd say the maxiumum velocity penalty is even more important, and in that regards it's not better. With the changes to the targeting delay on SB's the slightly better recalibration time won't matter either. At any rate, good luck with your auction.

I'll give feedback on price since you did ask.
I think I have 2 of these BTW (neither of them paid for, so if you got yours from source then I know where it came from)

Anyhow. I'd put the price way under that 250. I think you will be lucky if you can shift it for more than about 50, I know people will easily pay 25-35m for it, and considering that cloaks were down in value when they were paying that for it then you might be looking more in the range of 35-50 for regular buyers.. If you do change your auction price however then I'd put start price no lower than 50 (someone will pay that)

important are speed penalty and sensor recalibration time (how fast u can lock again after uncloaking). -75% speed penalty is like the dread gurista cloaking devices (they go for around 15 - 20Mil), 19s recalibration time is bit better than dread gurista cloaking (it has 25s i think) and only little bit better than improved cloaking II (has 20s). with cloaking at level 5 you can reduce this time to 50%, so u get 12.5s with dread, 10s with cloaking II and 9.5s with this guise. I think a price around 25 - 40Mil is ok, 250Mil is nap (or a bad joke) :-)

Thanks. I can see the ones on Escrow are hopelessly overpriced. I've adjusted it down to 40mil, to see if anyone wants a spiffy COSMOS one.

Pretty @#$) suspicous. You could have at least told people that it was available on escrow rather than saying "make me an offer" for buyout.
