Sorry for the newbie question.
Was looking at the specification of the carriers and Caldari in particular. Wyern has 200,000 m3 drone bay. A fighter is 5,000 m3 in volume. Therefore, a Wyern could bring in battle 40 Dragonfly, for example.
Now my question. In the ship tag description is mentioned that th Wyern has a 3 control fighters per level.
What does exactly means?
This question relates to all such bonuses for other drone intensive ships, and may have been answered before.
Apologize in advance if the question was naswered or explained before, but I didn't find a reference.
Thanks in advance.

It increases the number of Fighters the Wyvern can use (launch into space) by 3 per Carrier level.
A fully skilled Wyvern can field 5 + 5*3 = 20 Fighters. It can still only hold 40 Fighters in it's drone bay, however, so if the first 20 are shot down it only has another 20 in reserve (and after that it needs to go to a Starbase, aka POS, in order to fill it's drone bay again in order to keep fighting).
Nyx is Erebos' wife. Together they have two children, Thanatos and Charon. Why is Charon Caldari?! |

Well the drone skill gives all ships the ability to launch 1 drone per lvl meaning at lvl 5 you can control 5 drones in space. A ship can be able to have more then that in his dronebay but he can only launch max 5 at a time. the carriers on the other hand have a bonus that let them launch extra drones (or fighters). They can launch 5 fighters because of the drone skill and then for every level of the carrier skill you have trained you can launch more(1 more per level for the normal carriers and 3 more per level for the mothership class carriers like the Wyern) so with carrier lvl 5 the wyern can launch 20 fighters but it can have 40 fighters in the drone bay so the other 20 are extra fighters to be used if some die or to be able to have fighters that do differant damage types.

For Capital Ships there's also a high slot module, Drone Control Unit I (75.000 PG !!), that gives you 1 extra drone per module ... but you need a new skill, Advanced Drone Interfacing to be able to fit one of those modules per level of that skill ... intensive training, but on a Mothership you could fit a bunch of those and have even more fighter swarming in space (6 on the Wyvern, but no guns ?).

According to patch notes carriers can restock their dronebay from their on board Corp Hangar array by right click on a drone and selecting Transfer To Dronebay. Of course, if you're filling your array with fighters at 5000(!) m3 a pop, you're not helping your corpmates by carrying gear they can refit with if they lose a ship, so its not necessarily vital. ---:::---
