I know you feel like the ice interdiction is over and it is perfectly fine to AFK mine again. The Goons are gone and have left behind an emptiness where the gankers used to loiter in station. But the New Order are zealots for the New Halaima Code of Conduct and are on duty 24/7. Knights are standing by to make sure your mining operation is code-compliant!
Sunday several mining operations were found to be out of complaince with the Code and interdiction efforts were made. Not having a permit is enough to be out of compliance with the code and subject to termination. But if there is one thing we in the New Order just can't stand its AFK mining:
http://code.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=19651344 http://code.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=19648565
Yes that is a 2 minute interval between forceable ejection from his Orca and when a mining implant removal surgeon arrived to claim the pod. A Hulk pilot's ship and pod were claimed the same way during that enforcement action.
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tH7sx48izo
In all 3 Orcas were felled in very little time this day. Take it not as boasting, but as a object lesson in learning to care for your pilots by treating them as human beings and not as robots to be left to their toil. Purchase a New Order mining permit today! 10mil isk and good for all of hisec. If you mine, live by the New Halaima Code of Conduct and live life in New Eden... instead of on Facebook. This is the rule:-á In Eve it's always a trick. If you don't think it's a trick, you just don't have enough experience to know what the trick is. That doesn't mean you shouldn't launch on that fool anyway and roll the dice. |

I don't agree with "the code" or it's supporters, but..
This is coming from a miner, what the hell do those guys think? Even I tanked my Orca / Hulks in high-sec (Well, except for one time and Don Purple made his point well that time).
There was never a time when my orca wouldn't have less than 200k EHP+ECM drones. Good luck ganking that :D |

This is now a prediction thread. How long until Raymond gives up? I predict 3 weeks. RIP Scamming; CCP has finally acknowledged that the average gamer is too stupid to avoid being scammed & has decided to protect them from themselves with TOS changes that effectively ban the practice. |

Does he have to give up Eve, or just give up his fight against the New Order? Because honestly, I've not seen any evidence of said fight. This is the rule:-á In Eve it's always a trick. These topics where the so called "new order" is just so desperately looking for attention are kinda funny, just shows really how sad some people in eve are.
Also with this awfull roleplaying, just.... oh well.. i dont even think you can call this roleplaying. |

Not sure how pointing a pod for 2 mins for KM whoring proves he was AFK.
Also, I would throw a cheap alt into the New Order for ****s and giggles...except for the RP thing. |

You should join the New Order. We'll teach you about CONCORD mechanics so you won't say dumb things on the forums. This is the rule:-á In Eve it's always a trick. If you don't think it's a trick, you just don't have enough experience to know what the trick is. That doesn't mean you shouldn't launch on that fool anyway and roll the dice. |

I dunno, maybe there was a wardec. Or maybe he went AFK after you popped his ship. Why wait 2 mins to pop the pod, if not waiting for others to ***** on it? Figuring that out would require effort on my part which would require more "give a ****" than loling at the entire thing in forums.
I appreciate the offer to join, but again, that RP. *shiver* Do I really have to run around acting like I'm on some sort of religious crusade, or can I just show up and press da buttun? |

1) Hedion University = NPC corp, so no war dec. Having a wardec would kinda negate the need to suicide gank, anyway. 2) What moron would go AFK in a pod in a belt right after his Orca melted around him? Even for a miner, that is off the derp scale. 3) Notice only one person was on the pod kill. Generally any Catalyst pilot will one shot a pod. If people wanted to ***** a pod KM, they probably would have been in a fleet of noobships...actually, it would have been funny to see them all in noobships doing it . More likely, there was another ganker near by that didn't participate in the gank that bravely volunteered to go finish the job, since all the pilots involved in the Orca gank couldn't blast anything for 15 min while waiting on the GCC.
Yes, you probably should roll an alt and join us to learn a bit about game mechanics. Whether or not you RP depends on how much you enjoy harvesting tears from miners. For some reason, the RP element of the Order turns the rage knob up to 11. Making hisec better...one Catalyst at a time

Even in Roleplay terms I do not like the Idea of Paying 'Danegeld' to other players to continue to play a game I pay monthly for.
Now 10mil is fairly minor considering the cost involved in buying and outfitting a mining barge so it isn't the amout per se, it is wondering if I will have to pay not just once but once per 'New Order' member I encounter. It is also an objection to a particular part of 'The Code'. - New Order territory is a safe space for suicide gankers. Miners are required to put aside their prejudices and treat gankers with respect.
- Upon being suicide ganked, a miner should congratulate the ganker on his success. A "good fight" or "gf" in local is customary.
So, I am paying 10mil to be able to mine but have to congratulate the person who blows up my 30mil investment anyway?

No, you only pay once per year. Part of the Code requires a bio update supporting it. This is how most of us rank and file knights know who has paid. I wouldn't get any ideas about a fake permit, though...that can earn you some extra attention if you are found out.

New Order knights won't blow you up once you have a permit, unless you are found violating the Code (typically being AFK if you are hailed). However, there are plenty of non-Order affiliated gankers that don't care about the Code and blow up miners just because. Making hisec better...one Catalyst at a time

Me! Well, not really. Because if you're following the Code, even if without a permit, you're typically well-protected from me by your very compliance with the Code.
Seriously; Anyone who gets barge-ganked by me is bad, and should feel bad. Bomber runs are a different matter entirely - those are actually executed under the aegis of a trained FC, and such deaths do not constitute 'Derp.' Usually.
