"CONCORD Issues Travel Advisory
In a statement from Admiral Baryn today, CONCORD issued an emergency travel advisory for the Jakemhih and Kashag constellations, Domain region. "A large number of unprovoked pirate attacks have been reported in those systems," Baryn said. "The identities of the attackers remains unconfirmed, but in all cases the attacks were swift, merciless, and with superior firepower." CONCORD warns that any pilots in the area may be putting themselves at risk."
Are these NPC Pirates or PC Pirates? I viewed these systems for number of ships destroyed and only saw a couple, I mean it cant be PC pirates... hell, I did more damage then this in Sarum Prime and they didn't role play that.

Hmmmm, I started reading that News Items and got as far as "CONCORD Issues Travel Advisory
In a statement from Admiral Baryn today, CONCORD issued an emergency travel advisory for the Jakemhih and Kashag constellations, Domain region" when my brain decided it was a warning about a stuck system.
Bad brain, bad bad bad.
I'll have to read the full News Items in future.

Joshua, in game bugs and stuck systems and the such always seem to have the blue question mark item as the news icon.
Real news such as this seem to always have different icons.
And Tank, I think this is just the beggining of another event, another step forward in the games storyline I imagine/hope.

I flew around some of Kashag constellation and couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. More than the usualk number of people aroudn for sure, but nothing much else.

Also in there is/was a thread in Events recruiting a CONCORD spec. opps team for something on sunday

Say it is the first touches of a new event, and you want in on it, so what are you doing there?
We all know from the last event that nothing is going to happen where the event is hinted, you are better off being anywhere BUT there :)
And I hope this time, if it comes down to a huge clash, dont have 10 event ships try to beat 100 PC ships, that is just slaughter.

It was scripted to be a showdown tho. Ourvia was soloing like 10 battleships on his own once. So you know he was meant to die there :
I dont like scripted ends. I think he should have ran around pod killing people every wehre he went... even in 1.0 zones, because he was a BAD EVIL JOVE.
But... whatever this is... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont put it in/near stain. SA ripped EVE off enough, from the last event.
