Shoulda set extended training 
I ALWAYS set long training during d/t... why oh why didn't I follow my own rule?

maybe I've done somethign to my PC (I cant think what) but I am getting the message "Proxy not connected". Now is this at CCP's end or is it at my end for this? Normally it's "could not connect to server on xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx".

Me too. Even worse, I have to go back to work in a minute and won't be able to restart training for 5 more hours grrrrr

I'm a little disappointed with how CCP continualy fails to announce hotfixes and hardware upgrades before actual downtime.
I wasn't particularly affected by today's downtime, but if I had a skill ending after DT, or wanted to trade after DT from a country where DT occurs very early or late I would have been pretty P-ed off right about now.
Please tell us when you are going to do anything more than what you normally do during DT.

really sorry.. its all my fault 
i took the day off work to play some Eve so of course they have fracking decided to take the servers down for an extended period of time...
its also because this is the one time i set a skill to finish at around 11:45 (when the servers are usually up)
sorry.
nb: in the future do you want to give us a bit more warning on 'extended downtime due to minor hardware upgrades?' or is it a spur of the moment kinda thing?  you know roll into work.. find some unused kit and decide to plug it in?

Always on my day off when I think: "Cool, this skill will be finished just after DT, no reason to set something else..."
Really would be nice if CCP would announce stuff like this. They should know by now that a hardware (or any) upgrade goes as smoothly as they think.

to bad 2 ppl took the day of
me going to work while i usually have the day of on friday would have canceled one of you out but not both :P

I have Router Management trained to level 4 and a 2MB Dread Guristas Advanced Connection Stabiliser fitted in my mids and I still can't get on
Damned CCP ECM tactics.

The MOTD mentionned minor upgrade to hardware - guess it took longer then expected
Its starting up now anyways...

The server is up but Istill can't log on  .
It can't be lag because I'm in 0.0 so what's going on
