Hi,
I want to do l4 missions solo. So is it possible to do them all with a non-faction Gallente ship?

Basicaly what Im asking is can I do them in a Megathron?

Sure. You don't have to use a non-faction Ship. But doing a level 4
mission solo, is suicide.
You will atleast need two characters. One who do damage (tank/killer),
and one who flies in an assult frigate (bait).
Just an example. I'm currently doing a level 4 mission. On the second
stage, I face spawns with 4x Gallente Navy Megatrons, 4x Gallente Navy Dominix
2x Gallente Navy Orion (Super tanked Megatron that requires extreme firepower
to kill).
And to be frankly. Rewards from level 4 mission just suck. I'm just doing them
cause I hope that CCP will change it.
If you are good enough killing tuff rats, I suggest you head to 0.0 none-empire.
Compared to level 4 mission, it's 10 times more profitable, and 10 times easier.

The normal space you can do in a sniper mega Just warp in a 100km and kill the fast smaller ships first while heading towards a station or planet. If the rats gets to close, just make a BM and the warp out.
I would not try the DS missons in it.

Disagree with this. Whilst doing SOME of the level 4's solo is either a) very tough indeed or b) takes a ridiculously long time, the majority are doable solo. Infested outpost and in the midst of deadspace are the two that most readily spring to mind as examples of the former and the latter.
I do agree though that the rewards / loot aren't normally worth it, and that lowsec ratting is easier and more rewarding.

I did a LVL4 Caldari Navy mission last night, can't remember the name but it was a 1/5 mission.
Deadspace... jumped in and got wtf bbq'ed in my Ishtar, everything agressed. Webbed the scrambling frigs (8) and let my tech ii med drones on them, didn't do a thing to them bar remove the shields on one.
All the ships were Gal Navy.
Had 93% to their damage type too  not to worry. All other LVL4 missions I could sit there tanking 6 Ravens with loads of Cruisers and Frigs... bah :)

There isnt a single lvl 4 mission I can recall doing in the last 3 months that I couldnt solo in a domi.
Not one.

Have also done every level 4s in a Dominix, not extremely hard - UNTIL NOW - many of them have gone absolutely crazy since the last patch. Some spawns aggroes/locks7webs/scrambles immediately and are so uber-tanked that you really don't have a chance. The big problem is that nothing is mentioned in the patchnotes, so you will have to find out the hard way or watch this forum.

I can solo every lvl IV mission in my ishtar no prob with two exceptions. Vengeance is one because of the tank on rachen and the other is the new multipart one that I havent tried for fear of losing my HAC. I've done right hand of zazz and both extras and as long as you know what your doing they arent too hard. Im not saying I dont have to warp out from time to time and also it takes forever for the bigger missions but definately soloable.

U can do solo very easily.
1. U need to pick right hardeners, for Serpentis for example u need 2x termal 2x kinetic. Gallente also gives only termal and kin dmg
2. u need to engage one group at a time that waz they all wont agro u.
3. and of course u always need to align to space object and go into its direction that way u get to warp instantly when it becomes hot
