Tally Ho All!
So what is the shortest possible ice harvester cycle time for a hulk and how is it achieved? So far the best way I can think of to get the cycle time down is via:
*Maxed ice harvesting skill
*Maxed exhumer and mining barge skills
*T2 ice harvesters with 2 x T2 Ice Mining Upgrade
*1 x ice accelerator rigging
*Best ice mining "Yeti" implant
*Orca pilot squad leader with following
*1 x mindlink laser optimization module (I don't know if it's possible to do 2 of the same kind)
*Max Mining Foreman and Mining Director skills
*Mining Foreman Mindlink implant
I don't know if there are any riggings that would boost the laser optimization module. Can anyone think of anything that I'm missing or any other ways to help shorten the cycle time? Also, what is the best possible cycle time possible? Thank you all! |

I have level 5 Everything. Orca Pilot is maxxed out at Level 5's.
Cycle time on my Mackinaws is 55.6 seconds.
edit: yes, on the Yeti Implant as well. |

Okie so it's:
*Maxed ice harvesting skill

*5% Yeti implant
*Rorqual pilot squad leader with following
*1 x mindlink laser optimization module (I don't know if it's possible to do 2 of the same kind)
*Max Mining Foreman and Mining Director skills
*Mining Foreman Mindlink implant
And my eve math is a bit fuzzy but to convert 55.6 second mackinaw time to the hulk cycle time should be approximately:
(55.6 sec / 2 lasers) * ( 3 lasers ) = 83.4 seconds
So with a Rorqual used instead of an orca, would we be able to beat 75 seconds per cycle on a hulk? That would be awesome! Thank you both so much for your input! And please let me know if there are any boosts not on the list like maybe booster drugs (I don't know if there are any for ice harvesting). |

Sorry this information is incorrect
Level 5 skills with full orca Pilot at max skill , with Mindlink Inplant,
Mackinaws: cycle time was 50.3 sec with exhumer 5 and max yeti inplant, 2x Ice harvesters , ice rig and 3x ice upgrades
HULK: cycle time was 70.3 sec with exhumer 5 and max yeti inplant, 3x Ice harvesters , ice rig and 2x ice upgrades

True, but this thing has no tank.
Better to use only 2 Upgrades and a Co-Processor and get some shields on that thing. |
