Has anyone created a data file for eft using those leaked stats for the new hulls (and the other stuff for that matter)?
If not can anyone point me in the right dirrection for creating one? |

Yup. There's an experimental build out for anyone that wants to test them. Though if you're going to try it, you should back up your data files -- previous versions don't particularly react well to seeing ships or modules that don't exist in their database, so the new ship fittings may cause problems if you revert. |

No, not spiting on your job. It's all the whine that will come from people not understanding those are not the real numbers that will probably come out and will whine has usual, and that's why I'm already sick about. |

Don't forget that these are SISI numbers currently. CCP has an internal test server they use as well, so if stuff is making its way into SiSi it's not unreasonable to say that some initial testing with the numbers as they are is going on in CCP's own test server.
Obviously it's not as good as flying the ships ourselves, but until we can it's the closest we can get to a window into CCP's thinking on these ships and I don't see anything wrong with making discussions (especially when they're being read by devs) based on the latest data we're aware of, even if it isn't finalized yet. Because if they ARE finalized, it's too late for us to do anything until next balancing patch. The last balancing patch was years ago. You see how we'd be very interested in giving input as soon as possible after that, right?

I agree with your point of view.
If only we could read more reasonable people like you Talos thread wouldn't be the mess it is with so many whines for something isn't even there or tested.
Most aren't even capable to understand why on paper blasters are fine and why in game they're the worst choice you can make for any situation type, this tool in those hand will look like Russian roulette but charger full of bullets and at the end of the canon Talos. |
