Just wanted too say a big GF too the OSS/5 group that we just had the fleet fight with in reblier....tons of fun, actually "fairly" decent on the lag feature.
Days like this are what i live for in eve, massive fights, lots of death and destruction and things blowing up, no smack in local. Respect level just went up 2 notches for all of you. I look forward too more of the same

Would have been more fun if I hadn't been disintigrated so early in the battle.

I can't even remember who was calling targets, if anyone. I'm working with people that I've never worked with before, so we have to get to know how each other work. Things will steadily be getting better. GF today.

Really nice fight, almost lag free. Seems to me M2,35-r and some other systems are on a really busy node, not the case with Reblier

i think they realised CONIN are teh 1337z0rs, i think all of us were primaries. they should know the true 1337z0rs are Frantico and Tomski, closely followed by the rest of ER, FFS i had a semi-mining setup, with 4 miner IIs and 3 75mm gatling guns, why primary me
Regardless excellent f*cking battle, i got fraps from when i warped back in after being primary, ive editted it all, just when i compress it for some reason the audio drops after like 20 seconds. its when i drop the volume on one of the files to 0, then the music dies in the background too. if anyone can help, im using editstudio 5, by puremotion
huge respect to OSS and Sylva Moon for bringing out his Dread, without starting smack, i think we were outnumbered BS wise, and support wise we were well outnumbered, regardless gj to OSS for continually coming back, i thought after you bugged out first time that was it, when you came back, i was like "WOW" first time ive ever seen balls like that from you guys, and i cant wait to see more.
im not sure on total figures but i know we lost a lot of ships, regardless still an excellent battle

ive redone the movie, and taken out the vent recording, so just uploading now as im about to goto work, when i get back ill post it
dont expect anything special, i rushed this at 4am this morning, and im running a trial version of the editting software
if someone could help me out with adobe premiere pro, or a full version of editstudio 5 id be eternally greatful, evemail me in game

I'm pretty sure this thread has nothing to do with who won or lost in that battle.
It was simply meant as a way of giving respect to those who stood their ground during the battle.

well, we ended up holding the battlefield...but i wouldn't really call it a clearcut win, in actual bs killmails we lost in that category, in total kills we won (lots of support), total isk damages i think we lost....but all that beside just wanted too start a post about a battle i thought was a ton of fun and very clean, smack free, and respectable.

That depends on your objectives of victory. Holding the battlefield in the end, us. Most kills, probably us. Most bs kills, probably you tbh. Discussing kills/losses count usually leads to a flamewar tho, so lets not go there :)

We killed 9bs/hac including the chase down the pipe, and lost 4 (the 5 alliance only lost 2).
We lost perhaps 10,000 tech 1 frigs and about 5 cruisers... however the ISK loss is less than 1 gun on a bs.
However, holding the field counts for a lot, and in that respect I'd say it was tie.

I was away from the game for about a month,i log in to have a chat with my buddies before sleep and i see ppl screaming in alliance chat for reinforcements,then this battle with multiple warping in and out. It was awesome,thanks to friend and foe alike.
As for the accusations of boasting i think they are unfounded. There have already been people on my camp who admitted that we may have killed more in total but we also probably lost more BS and more ISK. We haven't been flying together long enough and we made a couple of small mistakes as a result.Nevertheless, it was just a very entertaining fight.Not all ppl were war targets,but pilots on both sides were going balls to the wall and getting aggressed within sentry range,shooting a couple of targets,warping out to repair and back in the fray.
We warped off the gate,the hostile fleet jumped in and we warped back in,no drones or anything like that. The system handled the lag admirably,it was minimal, and there was no smack in local. In fact i even saw people from both sides discussing the battle afterwards in a very sporting manner.

It was a fun fight.
Props on the lack of lag. I logged in to over 100 people in local in a normally quiet system. The fight was well underway when I warped in and I was HUGELY surprised at how smoothly my game ran.
The result is inconclusive and irrelevant, it was a lot of fun and it made me  that I logged on.

I agree with deja when I think for the most part the result is inclusive. The only thing I know about the result for sure is that the fight resulted in a lot of fun for all.

Strange what this game has come to. Blow up some ships and get yours blown up a few times,both sides smack eachother to death. Kill and loose some more and everyone gets all warm and fuzzy inside.
EvE would be the only universe people take a liking to eachother through regular participation in shoot outs. Imagine that in RL:
"Man that was a really crazy stunt you pulled on us,throwing grenades and charging in with your Uzi,good job on the headshot."
"Yeah,you were awesome with the kitchen knifes as well,good job on my kidney. Not to mention your wife throwing chairs at us when we were storming your front door"

tbh i think it would be a cool idea if we gave each other our KB links, no flame but theres alot of losses from your alliance i dont see posted (proberbly ours to tho)

A little bird told me that CI brought out a dread in reblier ?:X
I was stuck up in S-U as I was about to logoff for the night. But it sounded hectic on TS and in our director chat.
Im sure a good time was had by all. As much as some of us dislike eachother, PVP is so great and challenging somtimes. CI are excellent "enemies". Especially E-R. Great bunch of guys in that corp. always courteous.

Best way would be to look at E-R, S.A.S, Conin or Clankillers killboards and then write a list of victim names u c which arnt posted on ur killboard and make them post.
