Some times i get disconnected when clicking on the character icons also. How do i correct this problem? I tried to reinstall eve but the problem continues even when i clear my cache folder.

Since your typing is gibberish, I have trouble understanding what you're saying, but do you have an integrated Intel video chipset? -------------------------------------[04:04:04] Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk

That's a non sequitur. Its like saying "I don't have power windows, I just got a new Honda." The Honda could very well have power windows, and your "new pentium 4" could very well have a crappy graphics card.

As Keepiru said. Though assuming you bought your computer, you really should know what you paid for. Its like buying a car and not knowing how many cylinders are in your engine. -- Proud member of the [23].

Yes, you're pretty screwed, I mean you're NEVER going to see your character icon very well when you're looking at a blank screen

"Well, thats the problem, you dont have a slot for a videocard on that motherboard, according to the info on the HP site."
It says there's 2-3 PCI slots in there though, and it looks like there's still some PCI video cards being sold... nothing hot, but given EVE used to run pretty well on even older stuff, it could be some kind of a work-around ^^;;

Im sure there is, but pci cards arent exactly the sort of stuff the sells a lot and that your local pc store would stock - though i maybe wrong.
You could always look around your town at what pci videocards you find and then ask about it here - probably in out-of-pod :)
Imo, is easier to order from an online store in your country, but eh. ------------- Please fix the EW stacking bug, it's a disgrace!

Hmmm it looks like I will hire the 23 to look for my new laptop and videocard.
