To be quite honest, the problem isn't alts, per se, it is the fact that alts are used for lies, smack, and all sorts of shady things. However, reading this post, it seems to me that half the posts with alts are ten times more respectable than half the posts with mains. As far as I'm concerned, people should stay away from smack, and try to be as truthful as possible (not like that will ever happen), be it an alt or a main. This thread is a tribute to the fact that anyone who believes they have some great moral highground simply because they post with a main is seriously confused.

FA banned posting on forums back in the day which only resulted in lots of FA alts surged to the forums posting this and that without ever having to deal with consequences. There are, however, legitimate reasons to post with an alt. For one (common, I think) example, someone might want to post a ship setup for others to use or critique. At the same time, they might not want thier enemies to know what they are using on the ship based upon what they write on this board- giving thier enemies a bit of an unfair advantage. Yeah, they fear the consequences, and rightfully so. Thus, they post with an alt, and rightfully so.

Instead I will simply say this, Fix's dependance on diplomacy over combat ability will be the reason they fall. You can't hold space with POS's, sometimes you have to actually undock and fight. A bit of information has come to me that should shed some light on this entire situation. Do with it what you will. ¼_¼

You can make that **** up with your fix spy char (we all know they exist, and you'd be dumb to think it's not the case vice versa in SA) and mail it to yourself.
