I'd today experienced a many long-term lags about 20 to 30s long.
During lag nothing did respond is not possible dock, undock, gate, move items in cargo. It looks server wide problem because all members in corp do reporting same problem.
When I'm dropped during this lag to desktop I'm unable to log in game around a minute. It hangs on authorization or character selection.
Hunting is extreme dangerous due this game behaves.

Just had some sort of HUGE node failure. Everyone in Reblier got dropped, and it looks like about 1000 people in total got kicked.
CCP need to get the server stable, and fast. It is just not acceptable frankly. If they need more server power, they are just going to HAVE to buy more servers.

this couldn't be to do with the SoBig.f virus could it, just ive been getting 160 emails from it today, maybe its clogging up the net

other thing i keep getting is warping massive distances (150aus) with little or no cap drain.

Yeah its under dos attack...also is infested with viruses

Well this time it seems there is no 'in character' excuse for it...what will they do now..oh i know!
blaim it on a DOS attack! Oh yes couldnt be more perfect...evil hackers made an evil worm witch is dossing the EVE server for some reason because there is seriously sensitive material on the EVE servers hd's wich could make them famous for years to come! *cough* *bough*****
I think the time has come to face the music now...buy another server...imrpove the current one of mop up whats left of the dream called eve and move on...

It's the exact same things as what Zombie did, you may not attack in "safe-areas" (empire/within sentry range) without loosing your ship.

This game is just becoming a complete and utter farce. The instability of the server is a complete disgrace. And to make matters worse for me ..... after that last CTD, 170k of scordite I had mined just vanished leaving empty cargo cans . Hmmmm ... thanks CCP. Get your act together fast or witness a mass exodus of people refusing to update their subs.

Hmmm Server instability....maybe
Lets face it over the last week the internet has been shafted by the Blaster Worm and now the Sobig.f. I have seen estimates that the traffic on the internet has doubled. I know my ISP is suffering packet loss, cos their systems are being overloaded.
I bet Eve isn't the only game that is suffering disconnects

Very wierd.
I never CTD but I had 2 in 15 minutes tonight.
Not node crashes - full-blown BSOD's.
When I came back I also had twice as much ammo in my cargo as I did before the crash.

The connectivity /server issues in this game are substantially worse than what other internet games are experiencing lately, even with the latest virus threats. Some communication from CCP as to what the hell is going on wouldnt be amiss. They dont seem too good at that though ......

Don't blame EVE. Don't blame CCP. Don't blame S&SI (or whatever their name is  ).
Blame the damn worms.
According to a few charts I saw, universal packet loss has doubled to tripled up a extreme 10-15%. That is A LOT of packetloss. This started to happen about 5 days ago.

So ...how are ppl losing ore/cargo and gaining extra ammo etc they didnt have? The database/server is screwy ..... there is more to this than just "viruses"

if the data is getting corrupted going to and from the server then ammo counts etc. could be changed somehow, although sa***uards for this should be in place.
I imagine the blame is partly on CCP but also on other external factors

The news says it's the database at fault - ETA to a fix is 2 hours (dunno from when though). This causes the whole cluster to be unstable apparently. Again.
