I've downloaded the mac client 3 times while attempting to fix a kernel panic issue I get on my machine when running EVE, however on your site the Mac client is corrupt and isn't recognised by the OS at all. |

Cleared the Cache and everything can't log in either. Very frustrated. |

Patched this morning on my laptop. Having connectivity issues on campus generally, but the client itself is responding oddly too. Do not actively tank my patience. |

"EVE Online" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
Downloaded, verified and installed the client three times now and keep getting this message |

OKAY! Easy Fix - someone from CCP should have posted though
In OS 10.8.5, my preferences in security and privacy were set to only allow software from the Mac AppStore and identified developers. By changing to Allow any software source - issue solved. Hope it works for everyone else as well.

I'm having the same issue "GÇ£EVE OnlineGÇ¥ is damaged and canGÇÖt be opened. You should move it to the Trash." I have changed the security setting but get the same message. Do I have to change the security setting before installing? Before downloading the image? Making me crazy. My other Mac, where I did an upgrade rather than a clean install, works fine. |

You have to set Security and Privacy to "Allow Apps Downloaded from Anywhere" before downloading the new client. Keep that setting until you have installed the client and run it the first time. It seems to be working for me now. |
