Thats why we travel in these special ships with huge resistances, and as a bonus you can't lock on to them. [ Read the Rules! ] - [ Email the Moderators ] - [ Give me money! ]

Its been done once and since then you get perma banned from the game. Edit - Wrangler PWNED ME!! Oh and it was a GM who was podded. Oh and im sure that TomB would love for you to try its probably been a long time since hes used his smurgle blaster. Originally by: MAXSuicide only carebears call pvpers 'greifers' ehehehh....

We aren't even allowed to play using these characters, so you won't find me in-game . (I'd get podded so fast..)

You have absolutely no idea how fast they'd get podded, if only for the ISK alone (WTS dev corpse anyone?). But the devs and mods still play with normal characters, so if you're lucky...___The world isn't going to end; we're not that lucky...

I'm told SWG's devs used to randomly blow up players for fun but I doubt eve's devs would. Eve-Tanking.com - For the ultimate tanking spreadsheet and resources.

What are you talking about? They don't play with their dev accounts. They play with alts that have no beneifts over normal players at all. You might have podded TomB or mined Veldspar with Wrangler ('cause I bet he's totally a bear ) and not realised it. Eve-Tanking.com - For the ultimate tanking spreadsheet and resources.

It is perfectly ok to pod a dev or a mod if they are flying their playing chars (yes most have chars they simply play with). Podding a dev however is a very bad idea as there probably is a very good reason why he is where he is and at such a time getting podded would be very inconvenient. Mods on the other hand... dont really know why they would ever officially be out and flying on eve in their official moderator capacity but if they do they probably have some reason for being there.

Dude... you will need a fleet of battleships blastig smart bombs for an hour to make even a dent in Polaris' frig shields. 99.9 Resist to All/ and 2 Sec Rech. LOL LOL LOL. And as poster above me said - devs, ISD are there, when you see them, to better the game. And, if some idiot went and tried to gank them it might prove inconvinient. Unless, of course, they are part of the RP Event, in which case feel free to engage them - however I would suggest to think twice about it if you are alone. Sice they are flying Faction Ships and all have varios specific faction implants as part of the storyline.

I podded a GM once. It was about two years ago, I was in Yulai preparing to dock, when I saw a shiney red pod, checked the sec status, -5.05, so I podkilled it with a single cruise missile (which I didnt know I even had until I switched to see high slots). Shortly after, he convoed me and I saw red text and I was like "oh crap". I'm gonna see if I can find the corpse.

I've podded so many people that I'm sure one of them must have been a moderator alt. Would explain why I get threads locked faster than the average bear __ Originally by: Galaxian I'd like to add that as a penalty for warping out, Chowdown recieved a /heal0 from the devs, and his ship promptly exploded.

Maybe you're talking about that time the Devs spread pwnflakes among the m0o camps in mara/passari? My understanding of that case is that the devs took the setup m0o were using on cruisers with 4 low slots and applied it to battleships with 8 .. they didn't need to outright cheat (at launch, certain heat sinks were 14% to each stat and the surgical strike skill was stacking onto heat sink bonuses, also no stacking penalty and no tracking so think gankageddons, then triple or quadruple it) . ----- Apologies for any rambling that may have just occurred.

I podded TomB once on sisi. His revenge was him killing my pod in a reaper... except the pods shield recharge almost repaired faster than his damage, giving me time to self destruct.
