Hello,
Im not able to use a manticore yet, but how is it possible to fit Cruise Launchers? As a Cruise Launcher uses more then a 1000 MW....
Are there perhaps some other type of launchers, as i havent been able to find them?

If you look at the skill bonus description of the ship, you can see why it can fit a Cruise Launcher =P

If you look at the skill bonus description of the ship, you can see that it only has a bonus of 19.65%? Or am i understanding this wrong?

The 19% reduction in the powergrid stacks per level of Caldari Frigate. And you need Caldari frigate 5 to fly a Manticore. So automaticly you have 98.25% reduction in Powergrid needs on Cruise launchers (19.65*5) That's how you can fit them.

In fact, on the manticore (as well as on the purifier), it's not 19.65% despite what the description says, but 19.74%, which means 98.7% reduction (frig 5 required to fly manticore).
That's 17.5 grid per launcher for T1 launchers.
And manticore has an additional bonus from covert ops skills. The description says 5%/level, but in fact it's 7.5%/level. At covert ops 5 you have an additional 37.5% decrease, which brings T1 launchers to only 10.9375 grid.
Cruise launchers on purifier will require 17.5 grid, and 21.875 on nemesis and hound.
Look here for a thread I made about those wrong descriptions and the fact that nemesis and hound have lower actual bonus from frig skill than manticore and purifier.
Note that at cov ops 5, 3 cruise launchers on a manticore require less grid than 2 on a purifier, and 2 of manticore's launchers require as much as 1 on hound and nemesis  (from cov op 3, manticore requires less grid to fit 3 launchers than nemesis and hound to fit 2, and at cov op 4 it's only a tad more than purifier for its 2 launchers, less with cov op 5).
Anyway, I hope those descriptions will be fixed to match the actual bonii, and that hound and nemesis bonus will be upped to manticore and purifier levels...

Thanks for your reply Trelennen, your reply makes its all clearer.
I have seen a manticore in action with cruise missiles against me while in a gang camping. I noticed that you really need skills as a pilot, not just the skills itself. And also the frigs where as good as dead........ really not much for a covert.

Imagine now a manticore firing precision cruise missiles  (half explosion radius, twice the explosion velocity, same speed, coupled with the hidden static cruise missile explosion radius on Stealth Bombers)
