Maybe i'm missing something, and I hope I am because the only timecode/card I see for sale to play EVE w/out a credit card are those with 50 days playing time for $30 USD! If I have a credit card however, I pay $15 USD per month. So, I receive ten days less playing time for the same amount of money. This isn't a matter of opinion, it's a fact. Unless of course there are 30 and 90 day codes/cards available that sell for $15 and $45 respectively.
I can understand a day less playing time for $15 to recover the cost of the cards and/or shipping but 10 days is a ripoff. I see 30 and 90 day codes for sale in-game and yet and don't see where to buy them.
Are they available in retail in the UK and Iceland?
If you know the answer(s) please let me know. Take care in rl and in-game :-)

Actually you get 20 days less 50 - 30 = 20

Wehre do you get 30 from? $30 is the cost of the card.
Subscription is $15 for 30 days approxmently, so $30, the cost of the card would be 60 day subscription. The cards are 50 days, so 60-50=10 days less.

Funny that, I looked at the time cards and though - wtf - it's cheaper buying them than paying by CC !!
But then I pay 15 euros a month, which is GBP 11.someit or about $19 in your money. You sure your paying 15 dollars a month?

Edited by: Snake Jankins on 16/01/2006 21:03:27 Edited by: Snake Jankins on 16/01/2006 21:01:56 I use time codes, too, but they dropped in price I think. If I remember it right the last 50-day key cost me 23.99 or 24.99 EUR.
I prefer that over paybycash, since it's easier for me. I login to the page of that mmorpg shop, buy the key and then they send it to me within 24h hours via email and withdraw the money later from my bank account. I've bought more than a dozen keys that way, always got them fast without problems. One time on a sunday evening. Just great.
edit: forgot to mention that you get the key via email. ___________ 'Only ships can be assembled, this is a Frigate.' |
