Dear CCP
Dust, unfortunately, was a failure. Sure, it is f2p, etc, but it is for some reason now, negatively influencing FW. If you think, people will stop playing Eve, to turn on a soon absolete PS3 (I don't own consoles as many thousands others in here don't either), you are wrong. A team deathmatch or whatever the playstyle is in Dust, affects Faction Warfare, brutally. Again, noone, will go away from busting a bunker, to play Dust. Not to mention militias, that are a clear minority. In fact, you are actually causing people to log off, and not play this game again. Not my case, but you are actually provoking people that play in FW, to leave Eve for good. People in FW that plaid eve for years, are now dependent on some 12 year old COD fanboys that play Dust?
At least balance it better. I mean what is this ? 50 people shooting an ihub and some game is won in Dust and it kicks the system down by 5% ?
You guys are seriously screwing up FW this way. The balance is horrible, and people that spent years playing this game are now dependent upon some COD fanboys to keep the systems balanced ? Again, if you are trying to force more people to play Dust that way, you seriously failed. You are just causing people to leave FW, and it becomes a total unbalanced mess. |

Agreed. The game mechanics of the Dust/Eve linkup seem like an afterthought. It's as if CCP just wanted to have it as a marketing talking point that "Dust and Eve are linked!" |

Because there is not a balance in numbers Amarr vs Minmatar sides, the Dust wins make the already difficult task of retaking systems with lower numbers than the opposing side much worse.
I have been on a few structure bash fleets to flip systems now and because we're not 50+ or something a dust win in the area knocks the system back out of vulnerable.
The other side with number superiority can flip a system quicker hence dust does not have the impact like it does on the losing/smaller side.
Something needs to be done to create a fairer balance before more Amarr run off to the Caladari side or something... |

Agreed, a balance must be found. The systems must fall back and the Empire will rise again. |

It's a nice thing to have 2 games working together, but this has just to much effect on the game. Having a system flip over to non vulnerable, losing immense amount of 'cap percentage' which makes taking over a system take ages...
Making a whole fleet to bash an ihub and then getting there to have the system flipped to non vulnerable by something we have completely no idea of happening is just rediculous. Make it atleast less effective, this way we have no idea at all that there's a battle going on and therefor most of the people are wasting their time. |

You must have been one of the guys helping us bash the ihub in Kinnaka last night. I totally agree though, you spend several hours or time, energy and organization to buffer a vulnerable system and geta bash fleet in position along with skirmish ships to fend off assaulting war target fleets and then boom, a 10-minute long DUST battle nerfs the system into contested with 30% armor left on the ihub.
The DUST affect on FW sov at the moment is way too overpowered.

You mean that DUST has now affected maybe two IHUB bashes in six months and is therefore OP? Is that what you guys are saying?

That sounds like a convenient way of ignoring negative system % modifiers and their long term effects on FW. In six months no, try several times a day in the same system. But from reading your response, you will probably decline such a thing is even possible. |
