SPC decided that an afk miner in the Cloud Ring was a threat to them. The PK'd a friend of mine for now reason. That region isnt even in their alliance charter. How dare you claim to be good guys? Oberion Corporation was behind this terrorist act. May the Karma gods bring all the vengence from the heavens down upon thee.

Pardon my slow response, Reclaimer. As a representative of both Oberon and the SPC, I would VERY MUCH like to get to the bottom of this accusation. An acusation that I take very seriously. But I need more details. Please give me the name of the person who lost their ship and the person who allegedly destroyed that ship, so that if this is true, punishment and reparations can be made.

My investigation so far has been slowed by the lack of any real time communication with the participants in this incedent. Here is what I have determined so far:
Affected parties: Tenchu of Fatal Shadows Kronarty of Oberon Inc. Perforator of Oberon Inc.
Facts:
1) Tenchu of Fatal Shadows was pod killed some where in Cloud Ring.
2) A state of War does not exist between Fatal Shadows and Oberon Inc.
Un-confirmed rumor: Pilots from Fatal Shadows were firing upon Oberon ships within the same system that the incedent in question took place.
Details still required:
1) What system this incedent occured in.
2) Circumstances leading to the destruction of Tenchus ship as recalled by Kronarty (ranking officer) and Tenchu.
3) What kind of ship was destroyed and quality of clone activated.
Oberon-inc has a strict code of conduct that is strictly followed by all employees. "Unless in a state of war, pod killing if forbidden unless the player or his corp has pod killed an Oberon member unless the player has a negative 5 (or lower) status or bounty exceeding 50,000 ISK". "Pod killing with special circumstances may be allowed with the approval of the ranking officer on duty".
If these guidlines have been violated by any Oberon personnel then Tenchu is entittled to the refund of his ship and clone. Punishment will be dealt to those involved. However, Tenchu needs to post all details required here along with his side of the story.

I do not know the detail since i was away at the time when i got pod killed and the location is in XZH-4X. I was flying bestower with 200 bistot and my clone status is A. Edited by: Halseth Durn on 29/08/2003 01:21:44 Thank you for responding Tenchu. My investigation is now complete. Here is what I have discovered:
On the day in question, 2 supporting defense fleets of the Syndicate-Placid Commonwealth were on patrol in the Syndicate region. An intelligence report came in that wanted criminal corps "the legitimate businesmans club" and "space wolves" had claimed the XZH-4X system for themselves along with "Fatal Shadows"(your corp). Although very close, the XZH-4X system is not within the jurisdiction of the S.P.C. However, the decision to engage the wanted captains of the L.B.C., Space wolves, and unknown "Fatal Shadows corp" was made and course was set for XZH-4X.
The outcome and facts of this story concerning yourself, Tenchu, have allready been documented in the posts above. Your ship was destroyed by those very S.P.C. forces.
However, after reviewing Fatal Shadows in-game website, there is nothing there to indicate that F.S. is a piratical corp. My question to you, and the leadership of F.S. is: Was F.S., at this time, afiliated in any form with these two Pirate corps?
If yes, then I am sorry, but you are entittled to nothing. And good day sir.
If no, then there has been a intelligence error on our part and we appologize for the inconvienience we have caused you. A new bestower will be given to you along with the re-embursement of your "A" clone.
What I require now is confirmation from an official representative from your corp. An additional reponse from the L.B.C. or Space Wolves would expedite this matter as well.
Sincerely, Halseth Durn

The issue is not with the ship involved, but with the actions of the individual. No member corporation of the SPC will ever assist or indulge in piratical behaviour.
As such, while we are perfectly willing to refund/replace ships lost in accidental cross-fire, we will not refund corporations/entities who indulge in any form of pirating. --

Dear Mr. Bringer,
(begin sarcastic tone) Congratulations sir, you have figured us out. Our ruthlessly evil domination will soon sweep over the entire galaxy forcing all before us into a horrible life of endless servitude and misery. (end sarcastic tone)
Seriously, Mr. Bringer, we steal from the poor? Who would that be? I would love to meet these people. Let them speak here. We have a War machine?! Perhaps I never noticed it before. Or are you refering to our member based security forces that patrol Syndicate searching for blockades to break up? Please be more specific.
And now I would like to address the very serious accusations you have made insinuating a relationship between the piratical forces of M0o and Sinister and the S.P.C. You are wrong. If you have proof, then state it here. If you do not, then please keep your unfounded assumptions to yourself. Do you know the only effective way to stop gate camping piracy? I do. The only way to effectivly prevent gate camping is to GATE CAMP. This is a very unprofitable (and extremely boring) venture. We have found that the average pilots tollerance for this duty to be about 20 minutes. Also, please do not point to the desertion of Sassinak from the great corp of Arcane as proof of S.P.C. piracy. BTW, who do you think placed the bounty so quickly after this traitors "change of heart"?
I dare to deny your unfounded claims.

Well said Halseth. Speaking from first hand experience within the Syndicate region I can bear witness that the SPC plays a vital role in keeping the space lanes open to all. It is surely an impossible task to elimate all pirates but SPC ships to their part to keep this menace in check.
Allowing Mr. Bridger to disparage the good name of the SPC without proof would be a great diservice to those who battle each day to keep the region safe.

Greetings.
As Royal Communication Department President for the British Space Corporation, I would like to address these last two points, as you appear to be trying to start somewhat of a smear campaign against the BSC and our satellite corporations. That's just not British.
Sassinak, once ranking member of Arcane Technologies has indeed turned tail and left for m0o Corp. That's Sassinak, not Arcane, Adeptus or the BSC. Nor indeed any member of the SPC. One bad apple. And I can assure you, the Royal Security Department will cut the apple down to the core.
Arcane Technologies and the British Space Corporation are indeed both ship/equipment suppliers. We're actualy very good at it, as many of our customers will testify.
However, among those customers you will not find a SINGLE pirate corporation. The BSC and her subsidaries are vehemently against any form of piratical actions, including but not limited to...
- Slave Trading
- Freedom Fighting
- Assassination
- "Toll" Gates
- Murderers
Our relations with other corporations are a matter of public record and our history speaks for itself.
Should you have any legitimate concerns, then feel free to evemail me and I will be happy to address them.
Failing that, I would advise you to check your facts before publically failing to bad mouth a reputable corporation. --

Gentlemen, I believe that Mr. Bringer here is simply a rable-rousing prankster with no tangable proof and a dull imagination. Perhaps he is hoping to get on "Minmatars funniest home prank calls". Whatever his issue is, I suggest we simply ignor any more of his unfounded claims.
NOW, back to the original discussion of this post; the destruction of Tenchus ship while AFK mining in the XZH-4X system by an S.P.C. security fleet. It has been 4 days since his last correspondence. As you may recall, the burden has fallen to the leaders of "Fatal Shadows" corp. I will give them 1 more day, and then have to declare this matter closed with no chance for appeal.
If this is the last posting of this thread, I would like to thank "the Reclaimer" for bringing this matter to my attention. And I would also like to thank our friends and allies in the BSC for their support of the good reputation of the SPC.

Mr Bridger,
As my Communications department has already responded, I'll keep this short.
Quote: 1. Moo/Sinister almost daily camp gates in the SPC region and have done for more than a month.
This is Proof? Proof of what? The fact that m0o are actually quite good at what they do? Good for them if they camp daily, the SPC attempts to remove their presence when it can. I don't see you doing anything other than blowing off on the forums.
Quote: 2. Sassinak was a member of Arcane Tech who is now a member of Moo (Do you need a Reference to join Moo?)
Again, can I ask what this is proof of, and can you please inform me of any FACTS you have on this matter? Sassinak joining m0o happened a while ago....did you only just find out and are deciding to broadcast now?
As soon as Sassinak moved, they placed the bounty on his head. There is no such thing as a specific reference to join m0o. I will however point out that m0o will know who the good pilots are, and will know who fought well against them. THAT is why Sassinak will have been accepted into m0o when he decided to turn his back on his corp.
I dont imagine that m0o will be contacting you about membership anytime soon, Mr Bridger, so I wouldn't worry about that.
Quote: 3. Arcane Tech and BSC are extremely close allies and are both equipment suppliers
My word, Mr Bridger, I must say that you are well informed......
Can I ask....is that supposed to be a damning statement? It's actually more of an advertisement to the fact that the BSC and ATUK sell equipment. For the record, we also sell ships, just in case you weren't informed on that subject too.
Oh, and here's another statement that most of EVE already knows. The BSC and ATUK also have very close ties with Oberon Inc. SO I take it that you are accusing them of underhanded tactics as well?
Please Mr Bridger, if you are going to make any posts of a disparaging nature in the future, at least have the good sense to make them actually have some substance. You have stated that M0o and Sinister camp gates (uh....common knowledge there I'm afriad.....it's what they do), Sassinak joined m0o (Hmmm, old news that.), and that the BSC and ATUK supply equipment (Yes, we do....and what about it?).
All three of the things you present are merely statements of things that people already know. There is no proof of anything in what you say, so unless you can actually provide some PROOF I suggest you keep quiet in future.
Just so you know, proof would be damning EVIDENCE of something. Once you work that out and can actually supply something in that way, then please present it.
The only thing I can see here is that YOU are the only person who's integrity is questionable. YOU are the one mudslinging (with no tangible evidence of anything) so the logical conclusion woul be that YOU are allied with m0o and are attempting (badly) to discredit someone.
The BSC/ATUK does indeed supply equipment.....we wont be supplying any to you however.

Edited by: Xeris on 03/09/2003 21:17:20 Greetings.
Sorry for the delay in my posting, but it has been a very busy week for me.
I'm not sure what kind of reports you are compiling, but any affiliation of Fatal Shadows and L.B.C. and space wolves is completly false. For the record, FS has had several skirmishes with the L.B.C. and have been working to keep the Cloud Ring pirate free.
Fatal Shadows fully condems the actions of the SPC for their actions of hostility and griefing. Tenchu was piloting a non-hostile, non combat vessle in a system outside of your patrol jurisdiction (for the record, XZH is 10 jumps outside of Syndicate).
Because of your misinformed intelligence report, I could understand if you engaged our patroling warships. However, destroying a non-combat vessle and pod killing its pilot well outside of your self proclaimed territory is an act of piracy, and a black eye for the SPC in the eyes of Fatal Shadows and our allies.

There are some belts in XZH (and other systems) that are 300 km wide, alowing you to AFK mine far enough away from pirate spawns that they will never bother you...as for PC pirates, its a risk worth taking all things considered.
