Wow that is really a horrible quality of mp3's. The music itself is actually very good. I love that 'Don't change rough demo'. It sounds really good. I love the changes between high accords and lows. Very good melody too. The other song, 'That guy rough demo', is not bad either, but Imho, it needs a little more consistency. I think the drummer needs to be a bit more continuous in his play, don't do too much fantasies. I'd love to hear more from you. Maybe some higher quality mp3's You don't happen to have a gig planned in Belgium do you? I'd come watch for sure.EVE Online | EVE Insider | Forums

Hmm I just listened to the new demo on your site, 'waiting rough demo'. Simple comment: I love it! Could be because I'm quite into melodic punk, but I really, really love it. Can't wait to see your first album, and hear more from you

Beg borrow or steal either a minidisk recorder, dat or a decent tape desk. Then borrow two extra 58's or 57's from the rehearsal rooms. Presuming the rehearsal space is set up like just about everyone I have ever seen, (with the pa speakers facing into the room and the band lined up against the wall opposite facing those speakers.) Line band up facing the speakers and place the mics as a stereo pair facing towards the band and so facing away from the speakers. That way you can exploit the cardoid mic pattern to adjust the vocals level by moving themics closer and further away from the speakers. Then it's just a matter of balancing the band volumes with the drum kit. I am not a fan of recording onto mp3 players or even recording digitally. Going to tape allows you to exploit tape compression and get a warmer sound. Using that setup, (on a good day), you can get results can almost be good enough for home cd pressing. As for the songs, I prefer my punk a little "punkier" but the songs structures have that easy to follow anthemic quality you need for pop punk. The lead quitar riff's loose a little impact due to over exposure. I would be tempted to drop them out to leave space for the vox. That allows you to bring them back in to add emphasis to chorus, bridge and verse ends. Power punk also leads it's self to breakdowns. I would be tempted to throw in a few palm mute guitar + bass and stripped drums passages. It's an easy way to build tension and grab an extra tonal shade during a song. Pretty good stuff really. The only thing that is lacking is the tightness you only get from playing together as a unit for a long time.Galactic Exploration and Mining - Web and T II Shop

I just listened to your song "Don't Change" and really think it has potential. I'm a big fan of most of the bands you have listed on your 'influences' page. So I have a 'connection' with the type of music you are playing. However, I have played percussion privately and professionally for over eleven years now--so I feel qualified to offer just one comment. Maybe because I am a drummer, and am often very critical of them--but it sounds as if your drummer is having a seizure when he is playing, and the seizure apexes to an uncontrollable level while he is doing a 'fill' between measures. He is missing notes when he is playing, most likely due to the fact he is trying to do too much too fast--he is playing at a speed beyond what he is currently capable of. What ever you do, is up to you. Good work tho, the guitar and bass riffs sound good. Can't wait to hear the vocals.
