It's great allowing Eve players to contribute features and ideas in a forum but it would be nice to have a place where we can see what ideas have taken the devs fancy. I have seen so many posts followed up by "it's in the pipeline" or similar quotes that indicate that the proposed idea has been followed up on by the devs.
The problem is that there is nowhere on the Eve pages where you can see a list of ideas that devs are experimenting with. Even if the ideas don't get as far as implementation, at least people can get to see what is being looked at before they post about it again.
All we need is something that says "T2 mining barge with refining capability and large cargo capacity" or something similar that allows us to see that the devs have this idea already in hand.
A similar list of things that have been looked at and discarded for various reasons would also help prevent reposts of the same ideas. If this also gave the reason for the rejection, we can most likely see that resubmitting it as an idea would be a waste of time.

What is really needed is a list of ideas that are just not going to happen or that have been suggested a bit too often. Things related to training more than one skill at a time being a classic example of an "idea" someone posts about once a week in this forum

There's always the in-development etc sections of this webpage...
There CCP list what they are working and thinking about.
It would be rather hard for CCP to react to every idea on here with comment, and to list everything they like, dont like and arent sure about, let alone keep that up to date.
On top of that, people would just move on to discussing details and offering even mroe suggestions or arguing about how silly CCP would be because it discarded some suggestion or other.
I'd prefer them to save themselves the multiple hours per week of effort that would go into that. Instead, read the forums more often yourself to keep up to date. Those that do probably know most of what CCP is working on at any time, what has the higher priority, and why they like some suggestions better then others.
Of course, they could be wrong, and most people dont believe it when those people give them an answer they don't want to hear.
So, solution: read forums or trust people that do.
