Something have to be done about thoes containers, everywhere i go people have made signs or just big garbage dumbs of thoes containers

They have insanely high HP!
Expect the number of secure containers left lying around to decrease once hacking skills come into effect.

I can see it now actually... people start claiming that certain mining fields belong to them because they have planted a secure can there.
Well... In some areas the roid fields are cluttered up by these damn cans. They should have a timeout like normal cans, but be just protected with a password.

How to shoot a small cargo can:
1. Grab your favorite battleship
2. Cram as many Modal Ion Blasters and Mag Vortex I's on it as possible. Might need a cap charge array or 2 just to be able to sustain firing.
3. Park in front of can and start shooting.
4. Go make a coffee
5. Drink coffee
6. Congrats, you just destroyed a small secure container.
Takes approx 4-5 minutes continuous firing with 7 modal ions at 1 shot per 2 sec per gun. Using Large Ion Blasters is not really an option because the ammo is too big, and forget using lasers. You'd need cap relays just to sustain fire. Cap relays = No heatsinks = No damage.
For medium cans, repeat steps 4 and 5 for about an hour.
For large cans, you're going to have to restock on ammo a couple of times and take 2 days off from work.

Why not set the a limited days it can survive?, 1-2 days, And if u want it to be refreshed, u have to scope it to your cargo and replace it..

well, signs don't bother me all that much... don't really see many of em. The XFI one is really the only one I consistently see and it's yet to lag me or anything.
I guess some people just need something to whine about... |
