Not griefing crying or looking for a hug etc etc. Just wanted to make this post in hopes that another n00bie will read it and avoid a dumb mistake.
I bought two plexes last night and went to sell them in Jita. I put up a WTS PLEX (link) x2 400 mill. I then get an open trade with 800,000 and I put in my 2 plexes and hit accept (Thinking it was 800 million). Classic mess up I guess, but that's the game  . |

Whenever I have the misfortune to be in Jita, I'm astonished to watch the scams in local and wonder 'who the hell falls for this crap?' Well, now I know.
just put stuff like that on the market and go grab a cup of coffee. As long as you're within the top 5 asking prices, they'll likely sell within about 15 minutes. |

Pretty sure, even selling to a buy order (right click sell) would have got you more than 400 mill.

True,  I learned my lesson. When I was selling it I was doing it advanced so I could match the current market. |

Actually, contrary to popular belief, Jita is a rather quiet system (chat related). Just block the 10 or so scam spammers that populate the area and you are good to go. |

Yes, there is. When you need to transfer stuff from one of your accounts to the other, and you don't have a corp-office in the station, and don't want to bother with Contracting it over. Or when you're sitting next to the one you're trading stuff to (that way you can always hit him if he takes it without paying). |
