that expansion was minted, getting to drive around and fly **** was awesome, what was it called? Rush hour i think.

I agree, Sim City 2000 is superior to both 3000 and 4.
Sim City 4 was awful.

Sim city 2000 was better. i didnt like the others. Mind you i sucked at them all

I prefered Sim City 3000 myself, but thats because I actually managed to get reasonably good at it..

I played sim city 2000 for months, the other two were just 'meh' to me when they came out.

Sim City 4 would have been better if it was easier to switch between different region/area things.

Played alot of SimCity 2000. 3000 and 4 just never caught, were just meh

SC2000 all the way.
SC 4 was pretty to look at, but just wasnt fun to play...for long periods.

I'd be a bit of a long time fan of Sim City. I still have the Spectrum version of it (found it in a box in the attic the other day), that got me hooked on the whole series.
Sim City 2000 occupied many many hours of my time when it came out.... That game was the pinnacle of excellence at the time.
SC4 is very good now. But at the start, it had so many bugs it was untrue. I ended up just leaving it until the patches came out (which took forever, they took soon(tm) to a whole new level....). After the few patches, it was playable and I have to admit to liking the Rush Hour expansion. I do still play it from time to time.
Tough to say which I enjoyed more overall, tbh. Think I'd have to go with 4 though.
