well it appears that while in transport some of our newest, longest range and most powerfull equipment destine for Jita in hopes of making the gates there more stable has been Hijacked by a Guristas Assault force as the transports left our New Eden R&D plant. what a roving band of pirates wants with our hardware we do not know(we highly doubt they have the skills to build their own gate, and without a link to our network it would be useless) and havent been contacted with any demands.

Although I am a bit of a newcomer to the world of pod-piloting, I have dealt with quite a few Guristas operatives up to this point in my career, and I too have noticed their strange antics.
One example is how they continue flying into my rocket salvoes, even after witnessing how little effort it took to obliterate their wingmen. The concept of a tactical retreat, hell, basic survival, seems completely alien to them. It's almost as if their ships are flown by computers with extremely basic combat programming.
Almost.

I am sorry to hear of the delay. I wish you luck on getting the equipment back, or new equipment shipped out to Jita.
For now, I simply avoid Jita. I typically don't have much business there to begin with, so it's easily avoidable for me.
Guristas are resiliant in whatever they do. I'll be sure to keep a sharp eye out for the missing equipment. I am regularily hunting Guristas.

I actualy had one run away from me the other day, I shot down his two wingmen and he bugged out! I was so shocked that I wasn't able to pursue. ------------------

That happened to me quite recently too. It took a few moments to get over the shock...then I switched to iridium ammunition and blew him the hell away. -------------------------------------[04:04:04] Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk

Give a pirate some cigarette ends and he can turn them into a profit. You are quick to slate the hijackers as pirates, ever considered they may be freelance mercs working for the gallente federation?
Any set back to the Caldari State brings joy to the eyes of many Gallente.
I can't say I have heard anything through the underground, but then again I dont really have an interest in Jump Gate parts. Perhaps if you were to offer me some financial gain I could keep my ears open for you, if you make it worth my while......

Edited by: Filan on 19/01/2006 03:33:23 we are seperate from any empire, we run every gate in the galaxy. as to why the Gallente would want to mess with the jumpgates i dunno as they are effected by the stability of our network just as much as the Caldari, Amarr or Minmatar.
but we just got a message from the hijackers, they want the graviton wave guides stored at our New Caldari warehouse and blueprints for a stargate. however we will not comply, should it come down to it a few of their ships might have some "Jump Accidents".

My employer has caught Gallente scum trying to erect a Stargate in the Nakri system. A task force including myself cleansed the space, and oen of the Empire's mighty Titans with a detachment of Dreadnoughts were able to fully destroy the Gallentee stargate

Edited by: Kodan Ajex on 19/01/2006 23:42:11 The Gallente have nothing to do with this we have full respect for the GBC and the hard work they do many could take a leaf form there book they risk their lives to keep the gates working so we can travel.

well the good news is the Guristas slipped up, they tried to move the goods in a marked pirate Badger Mark 2 through a stargate. we locked them down with the final approch tractors and recovered what was left of Three Boson Speres and two 900Terawatt reactors(yea the gates need alil more juice then a battleship). inital reviews of the ship logs show that it wasnt a gate they wanted but to build some form of weapon and not a stargate. Inital estimates show a gate tech based weapon using the new high volume equipment could in theory be a "System Killer".
