I have been geting this blue screen eror for the past few days. It did not start after RmR but after that other little patch. It happens when I'm runing more then 1 account after about 20 min. I have talked with tech support for my computer and any thing they throw at me does not fix it. After geting frustrated I tryed formating in hopes that this would fix it but no luck. I just installed .net 2.0 hoping that might fix it it still happens.
Does any one else have this problem, or have any ideas to fix it?
I'm not that techiclay savy would any one know if this is cus of eve or perhaps some hard ware problems that just started?

I used to get this when running two clients of Eve on the same PC.
Tracked it down to creative audigy drivers.
The best solution is to disable sound in one of your clients, assuming you are running two clients together.
Other things to do are to disable 'sun is occluded by ships' option in Eve settings for both clients under the general tab.
If you are not running two clients, not quite so sure then, and I would suggest you copy the entire BSOD error message here. That way someone can at least try track the error for you.

You too? I posted in another thread about crashes that this is happening to me too. I got 2 today, about 2-3 the day before, I think 1-2 the day before that.
Not all are the bad pool call error though, some seem to be sound related - and it's always my sound that loops when the system bombs. I saw one error regarding wmadrv.dll or something once. Do you have a SoundBlaster (Audigy/Audigy 2/etc...)?
My only other thought was that maybe my system was running a bit hot... so I put a huge 120mm fan in there but it still crashed.
Since my last crash (even tried new sb drivers) I have turned music volume to 0, and it has not happened since.
Oh, and I've had .NET 2.0 for a while - this has been crashing after that, and not right after either so it's not the cause or the fix.

I have the same problem. Is this fix confirmed? I seem to have the same problem. I will disable sound on one of my clients, to see if that works for me. It's kind of annoying when you just got a Power of 2 account and you can't run them simultaneously. :S Rimhawk V8 Interceptors |
