Because playing spaceship captain in a 100% AI run Universe is just sooooooo much fun. Well ok it was fun when I played Elite 100 years ago.
I don't think they give a crap about X. And with the removal of SETA, I don't either. Was the only redeeming feature.

Eve is not really a competitor for x rebirth, however eve needs games like x rebirth.
Because when people start playing x rebirth amd they put that level 5 skill in the queue that takes a month or two or even longer. |
