i know www.eve-online.com not working, but connecting to eve it self, is there a promblem. i like to know if people are suffering the small. hopeful a ccp person could reply to just info me |

nothing wrong connecting to ev e, but if you tryin to log in right after dcowntime you might get lagged out.

It havent worked for 3 days in my end, not from work, home or anything. (that is www.eve-online.com) I can only search on google and connect directly to forums =/ mainpage is not accesable (sp?) at all from here, and havent been for days.
also, connecting to the game has been increasingly difficult too, nomatter what hours during these days =/

Im having the same problem for about a week now. I have to link to it from another site or I cant get in.

There is 'something' wrong connecting to the main site via http://www.eve-online.com/ [not clickied on purpose]
Firefox returns:

Internet Explorer returns similar:

But I can get to the site if I go through a link I have in a support response email:
http://support.eve-online.com/[rest of the URL specific to my account, and not made clicky on purpose]
Most of the past 36 hours or so I couldn't 'ping' eve-online.com
As of now, I get:

Doing a "ping -a" on support.eve-online.com's IP shows:

But doing a "ping -a" on www.eve-online.com doesn't return a DNS name, only an echo of the IP 87.237.38.100
This may not be a problem. But it may also be symptomatic of an IP address change on the www.eve-online.com site that hasn't fully propogated out through the net's name servers. If that's the issue, there's nothing to do from a player's perspective but to wait until your ISP's name server gets the update.
From CCP's perspective they may wish to confirm that their provider has pushed out the DNS name change though.

When I tried direct IP in the addy bar, didn't work (nor did flushing the dns from my cached ipconfig). That was why I checked reverse DNS. However, since posting above, I can connect to the site via the DNS name. It's beeen sporadic for just a bit more than a day now, but hopefully it'll 'stick' now.
[edited: In any case, I mis-read the OP, and thought the thread was about connecting to the web site. It's not. About the OP's issue, I can only say that during the time I couldn't connect to the site yesterday, I'd gotten mysteriously disconnected from the game 2 or perhaps 3 times. I don't know if the issues are linked or not though.]

if u read the my post, u notice the time said 10:30ish that was half an hour BEFORE DOWNTIME. so please only reply when u can read all the post please
