If you want to become a great pirate the first corp you join shouldn't be a pirate corp.

Get what you want for your money and ignore all nay sayers and supposedly wise folk.
There are plenty of tutorials detailing how you can start pirating. Use www.eve-search.com to find them.

Dude train to use a warp scrambler and a micro warp drive. Also the weapon(s) of your choice. Then go out ransom/kill/steal to your hearts content. Sooner or later you will jump a corp pirate (or get jumped by one) win or lose consider it your interview for their corp.

Because in real life most of people are polite, non-aggressive, timid and lawulness. So in game they want to do something "terrible". And young players think that it is easy and funny to be pirate. Haha.

I don't exactly know if theres a direct difference between a pirate and a griefer, but I've been brought up as a "griefer". From day one I've been in 0.4 and lower systems. My corp enjoys defending our little chunk of territory in game. We declair war on random people, for no reason what so ever, and the randomness behind it is beautiful I think. People are so dumb struck for a reason as to our actions and we simply say "because."
If this is the type of thing you're looking at getting into, feel free to give me a mail in game. If you haven't found a corp yet, I'm part of a small group of "gentleman", that abide by a small amount of rules. We don't take part in alliances, (our views are simply, they ruin the game style that we play) So smaller engagements and not so much fleet battles are what we're interested in.

Get some xp and a frig and some ew mods, and give it a go most pirate corps are invite only, but you could get lucky and find one that will take on noobs. But ingame experiance is the best.
And if you can say YAARRRRRR REPEDEDLY Than you will be fin oh and if you can stomach stuff like this.

Because you don't have to aspire to it! You can go into low sec, hang around for a week, burn through a few cruisers and return to high sec with many loveletters from Concord. Then you can go do something else if you're bored, or continue as you please.
The OP can't if he builds up a bad sec rating and should know that it can be hard to grind it back if you change your mind later on. Perhaps build up some ISK first so you have a spare 0.0 ratting machine? And try not to pick too hard on the nearest 0.0 alliance, lest they decline your ratting pass.

First off, to become a great pirate, you must understand Eve from a pirate's perspective. Go to Jita and mine Veldspar for a fortnight. Then you shall better understand the true evil that is mining. Thus better preparing you for a life of piracy.
