Anyone know where I could get my hands on the opening title song for EVE Second Genesis?
Anyone know of a way to extract the song?
I've talked with Eve Cust Support, and they are no help at all--almost as if the guy I talked to hadn't even heard of Second Genesis. 
Any help would be mucho appreciated.

The Eve sound track is for sale in the store, however with the web server problems it's a little hard to get to at the moment. Lucky us tho, the Google Cache is still up.
I'd spend some time with the in game music player and find the song you want, which will of course show you the title and you can check if it's on the list of tracks above.
Beyond that I know there is some software to extract the raw data from teh stuff files which should let you get to all the music with some work, I've never done it so I can't offer any help with it.

There is alot of music in EVE that you dont se in the ingame player, there is a stuff expander somewhere, I have (somewhere) a folder with all the songs in it..

Ah, thanks for the response Ductoris. Good to know there might be a music extraction program out there somewhere.
But in any case, the file I'm looking for is back on the Second Genesis client, and isn't listed as a music file under the current RMR client. So looking through the catalog ingame won't do me any good.
If you happen to come across that extraction tool, I'd be a huge fan if you'd let me know.

The song name is stellar shadows.
(its NOT on the soundtrack)
There is an extractor somewhere, Ill see if I can find it.

Simply run and open the resMusic.stuff. All of the in-game, old login music, and complex music will be there. Just select them all and extract it where ever needed. I hope CCP doesn't mind this as it is not client modification, but merely allowing the player to enjoy certain aspects of the game music.
In regards to the EVE soundtrack, it's far too limited for myself and others to take it seriously. There are some amazing tracks on there, yes, but it seems to leave out quite a few that I find breathtaking. '...But we still go on' and the Cold-War login song are two of them. It's a bit outdated.
