Does anyone know any decent medium/large-map servers with acceptable pings (ie reliably-sub-100)?
I remember playing on 64 player-Gulf of Oman maps with no lag, and now i don't play anymore, it's so horrendous.
I want to get back into this (potentially) amazing game, and would raelly like some info.

(P.S. curse EA for not including a favourite server list (or did i miss it?)  )
(P.P.S. Anyone know a good Strike at Kharkand 24/7 server? i love that map
 ...)

Depends on where you live. I got multiple sub-100 large servers, but the ping skyrockets when travelling a far distance. (I'm in Norway, and play only on Norwegian servers)

Not sure on UK servers, but unless attached to a back-bone the ping will be affected by the distance. Generally sub-100 pings are when the server is in the same country as you and thus on the same network.
Jolt servers tend to be pretty decent

Oh hell, you can't say c-r-a-c-k as in "to excel" "top notch". That is incredibly lame.

My clan runs 2 servers in the UK. One is quite a popular 47/7 Karkand server, I'm not postitive of the IP's but search for ***** Clan.
If you get any guff from the cc// guys on there, come by www.cc42.com.

Laocoon, just run the main list in name order, and make all the offical UK ones (the green ones) favourites, I find that all the 32 or 64 have normal pings of about 20-40 during the day, and about 60 at night. I dont have any problems at all with them.
Some of the multiplay ones are good as well, generally playing one called Tagged and Bagged, nice little 32 player server.
