I've been playing a few months, so perhaps I've missed something by not yet braving 0.0. I've heard the complaints about jove spacefrom older players. But what is the deal with the lack of alien life-forms? I really love the game but I'm sure more than just myself (att sci fi nerds)feel a bit disapointed that an entire galaxie's inhabitants are partially human or in some way the fault of humanity(drones, jovians). Any plans? Or am I missing something?

Nah, I happen to like SF that doesnt feature the usual hostile alien horde alot better tbh, so I'm not fussed at all.
Does it really matter anyway ?

Lack of alien life forms? Perhaps that's because you're supposed to play with and against the other human controlled entities in the space. The rest is just for the newbies to get started with - giving them any expansions or more interesting things than to grind enough ISK to get couple skillbooks and ships is just moot.

I'm with Rod - the lack of random aliens is refreshing, and IMO they'd be unnecessary. Aliens generally come in two forms - humans with funny masks, and "generic hostiles".

I think drones fall under the fault of humanity.
At least my question was answered. Thanks.
By all means I'm not whining, just surprised that ccp left out a fundamental
of why space is interesting to humans.
I don't know a random sentient cload of argon swallowing a bc would be funny.
And Macro, why is every post of yours I've seen so angry sounding?

Who's to say that aliens actually look different than humans? Have you seen one? I rest my case 
I think the "non-alien-ness" of Eve is great, mainly because I refuse to believe that some squid from the planet Xsdfouin can talk in Leet Speak. That would deter from the RP aspect greatly! AND, there's only so much a mind can think up. With the billions of possibilities... you're ship could be surrounded by BILLIONS of aliens that are so small you can't see them except for when you get that ocassional white blurry thing that goes across your screen.
