so as im waiting in eve for my skill to be completed so i could go to sleep i had an idea. Is it hard to make an option that allows you to select what skill will be trained after the one currently being trained. Purpose for it would be that you dont have to wait until skill completes in 02:00 o'clock instead you could just add skill or skills into gueue and go to bed early cause you dont have to worry about losing precious training time. It' s not like im asking for free titan.

You are like asking for free titan. Unfortunately you are not the first one with that idea, it pops up every a few days. There are arguments for both yes and no. I think the developers also are very aware of the topic. Perhaps we will see some day something or then again not.

I don't agree with skill queues beucase as it is it's practically impossible for a newbie to catch up. The only thing going for newbies right now, is the likely hood that every now and then someone will forget to swap skills and hours or days go by that no skill training has been done. These little windows permit diligent newbs to lessen the gap.
Should we permit skill training queues, then you destroy the modicum of chance for newbs.

What im saying is that i could add sme skills to Queue so when i go to vacation and one of my skills completed it will start training new one that i had placed into gueue. I dont see how it is bad for Newbies. Is see it actually good for newbies. They have all sorts of new skills that training times are short. They would have to constantly come online to change skills. Though not a big problem for a gamer that plays many hours a day put a problem for a gamer who plays 2-3 h a day.

Edited by: Cavy Dan on 20/01/2006 10:21:41 I Have this in handy in case someone asks this question for the umpteenth time:
Quote: The Devs have stated on a number of occasions the reasoning behind the decision to not introduce a skill queue system and a web-based interface for skill selection. Mostly, it centers around this being a game we want you to play, not a web-based competition centered around who can get to 100 Million skill points the fastest.
There are work arounds for time constraints under the existing system. Set a short skill for the times when you are playing, a longer skill for the times when you are not available.
We are having a difficult enough time enforcing the issues caused by ISK and item sellers, let alone players selling characters on Ebay. We are not going to introduce another game mechanic that will allow 'character farmers' an easier time with their trade.
