A common complaint I've seen is that CCP and the developers don't communicate what is going on (especially about CTDs and other playability issues).
I just read through this neat page on this website and it explained everything in detail. Cool!

Yes they do communicate, NOW! They didn't before, but it looks like they got the feedback (most of it flames :) and realised that communication is important. Thank you devs and techies, with this base we can keep on working to make EVE the game we all want it to be.

The title of this thread makes me think of the M&M Candy Television commercial where Santa Clause meets the M&M.
Scene û Developer and Players meet each other for the first time.
Player: ôDeveloper?ö
Developer: ôThey really do exist!ö Player: ôHe really does exist!ö
(Action) Both player and develop faint from shock.
**This reference just popped into my mind and has nothing to do with my acutal opinion**

Heh
Long as things keep improving -- and the new communication from the devs (esp. TomB !!! thanks for the frequent updates keep up the good work!) is really excellent.
Also notice how they are actually explaining what is going on when the thing crashes or they are having CTD problems. It really alleviates frustration when at least they tell you they are working on the problem.
Thanks!!!

Edited by: Ruulex DeMors on 26/08/2003 05:38:13 Is it too little too late though? The server pops seem down from July and way down from June. The highest population was from June, 22nd. It's not a good sign that in almost 2 months we haven't gotten more than 6200 ppl online at once.
I'm very glad that the Devs are telling us what's going on now, but EVE is already starting to slide. Hopefully they can save it. ------------------------------------- Interm-CEO for EVE Marshals http://www.EVEMarshals.com |

Taishi Ce? Damn, must be a lot of ROTK fans in this game. So far I've seen Gan Ning, Cao Cao, and now Taishi Ce. Now if they would only make a ROTK online game I'd be there like a shot.
