Ok, a friend of mine recently lost a ship to concord.
What happend was, quite simply, someone had tried to kill someone at the gate in empire, concord comes in and nukes everyone. My friend was not in a gang with the agro'er and there were no other people around.
He has not got his ship back, and wont get his ship back, im sure you know why.
Do you agree with me with the fact that this is wrong? He has now left the game simply due to this fact and will not return until he has cooled down.
Oveur, Keiron- someone please reply here and resolve this matter (ofcorse i will pass you more information if you offer your help).

Well, he left the game due to that ?
That would seem rather harsh, my pity for him just went flying out the window.
But yeah, seems weird. Are you sure he's tellign the truth ? 'Cause GM shouldnt have any problems making sure he waqs actually killed by concord for a reason. It seems a bit strange that the gm in question wouldnt have done that before denying the petition.

Afaik, Concord don't make it their business to shoot the innocent.
Are you sure your friend isn't guilty of something?

Being helpful when people are doing bad things is considered bad by concord.
EW is considered hostile when used against pilots, stations, stargates, concord.
Armor repair, shield and cap transfer for someonecommiting a crime will get you concordokken. Each pilot is responsible for his actions.
Smartbombs require the user to activate the brain 1.0 module the pilots come equipped with.
Oh, and he died by concord, and not by some smartbombs one of the pilots used?

Absolutley 100% sure.
He was furious, the thing is, the guy that started shooting, the guy the first guy was shooting and he was blown up by concord.
All of them were killed not just the initial agro'er.
Ohh and the reason he left was due to the mods he had on and what he had in his cargo which was pretty much all he had in eve.

TBH, I think your friend is probably too embarassed to admit he made a noobish mistake and joined in the fight. Only xplanation imho cause GMs have logs.

Well when all 3 of the people at the gate die, even tho 2 didnt agro it comes into light that it was a bug. Even tho 'logs couldnt show that' according to gms.

O i see, you just explained what happened. Some guy started shooting, got flagged to concord and people started to shoot him cause he was flagged. Well in high sec, you shoot at onyone, no matter who shot first concord will kill you. youare not allowed to shoot anyone in high sec unles you are same corp or at war, no matter what they have done or if they fired first. Was your friends silly mistake and his own fault.

2- Concord comes in, kills the agro'er, kills the person the agro'er was shooting, kills my friend.
NO ONE SHOT BACK AT THE AGRO'ER.

The amount you are arguing I would say that this 'friend' of yours is you and this alt is just a cover so you dont sound like a fool on your main. The fact is logs are stored server side, obviously an aggressive act was made, even if by accident and this got the ship concordokened. tbh it needs no more explanation or argument...

If you still want to protest otherwise, find the log for that time, upload to eve-files.com within next 5 mins (very small files, dont even take long on 56k) and post link....

Its smart not to come back on while hot headed, I cant count the number of people I know that have lost additional ships and stuff due to going out on a vengence run.
If possible get the can, after that its wise to cool down.
In the situation above I would petition it and take a screenie of your sec standing change as well as the kill mail listing concord as the killer.
That should have enough evidence to show that it was a mistaken concord kill.
